Course Curriculum Overview

It's 4 years course consist 8 semester. Two exams are taken each semester, one is mid exam by department and final exam by university. If u failed in mid exam u can retake the exam by department and get it passed

Placement Experience

The placement are good. Almost everyone who is interested in placements are get placed by end of final year. Even if they don't get placed, they can find off campus jobs in name of LDCE. and they don't provide internship facilities

College Events

There are many clubs run by students in College campus like robocon club, rcld ,nss ncc ,rotract club, lakhshy tech fest, gtu tech fest etc. We celebrate holi, uttrayan, dhuleti in our campus only. So many events like food stall and all

Fee Structure And Facilities

1500/year. Its a government college so obviously reasonable. We have to pay for university exams also which is 700 around every semesters and and some random fees for workshops and for other activities where u want to participate

Fees and Financial Aid

MYSY scholarship provides by gujarat government. I have availed government scholarship offered by gujarat government which was 12000 per year else college doesn't offer any special scholarship as it's a government college

Campus Life

They conduct many extra curricular activities each month related to technology or non technical. All the time u will see some workshops are going on in various departments and we have great cricket ground in our campus. There is also football team active at zonal level

Hostel Facilities

I lived in hostel situated in campus only. It's built in old infrastructure but now new buildings are in under construction. There is 5 blocks/building for boys hostel and separate hostel for girls also.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah seniors are very helpful. Most of the seniors are good and very interactive with all. They guide juniors about subjects and placement related activities as they are passed all this things. Alumni network is also strong. There is Facebook page for that

Admission

The admission process starts right after ur board exam results and ACPC handles it. You have to register through ACPC portal and then they held multiple rounds for seat allotments in according to ur choice filling based on ur merit number

Faculty

They are highly skilled at their subjects and have deep knowledge of area where they are teaching. The simple phenomenon is that if u r clear with ur concepts taught by faculty, u can easily crack university exams

Reality OF Parul University

Likes

I like the technique of teaching and sharing the information with others and high tech laboratories
Advanced Computer and classroom and library
Campus are very beautiful and adventurous they have facilities for outside students providing bus service

Dislikes

Nothing for hate but the same thing like mess food are average
And Here Everyone Wants To Makes Friends But Not anyone believes
My Experience Is Too Good But Food Problems of Mess Is My First priority

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

LD Government college review

Likes

all faculty member is good give the best lecture.it is government college so all faculty come in the college
in the LD college placement is super till now because most of company same as other private college
infrastrure is quite good here all side greenary and animals all other.and many social activity happend

Dislikes

in the college many class room is old fashion like feel like you stay in the village.

here till now i think better placement so my opinion is that it is the government college and also provide the place ments while other college take fees and also placed same company with same package . acordin to me it is quite good placement is provide

IIT Gandhinagar from the eyes of a First Year

Likes

The Sports Complex is a major highlight of IIT Gandhinagar.
The Campus Amenities are top notch and it is a fully green Campus.
Faculties are Expert in their Respective Fields and teach very well.

Dislikes

The Course Load is very High and you will get very less free Time.
The Exams are quite challenging and you have to keep thinking out of the box.
Some lectures such as World Civilization and Cultures are very boring.

Placement Experience:

Placements this year have become better. 4th Years are sitting for Placements right now. Top companies include Infosys, Oracle, De Shaw, Nvidia, etc. All Data is available in the Placement Report which is available on the IIT Gandhinagar Website. Till May 4, 2024 69 % Students have been placed. I plan to go for a masters after my degree.

the discipline of VVPEC and strictness towards academic studies , ensures focused environment
the college encourages students through substantial scholarship of 25,000 INR for top student in each class to motivate.
well-equiped library facilities provide resources for research and learning

Dislikes

lack of emphasis on sports initiatives , less opportunities for physical activity and team spirit.
stringent policies limiting cultural events and less vibrancy in campus lifestyle
very limited option in canteen and limited space to hangout with friends .

Placement Experience:

from semester 6th , placements drive is begun talking about my course , Biotechnology engineering , there was NO PLACEMENT DRIVES. But our hod will definetly help in getting great jobs according to your requirement. And help in GATE exam preparation is very minimal , so one shall prepare it by themselves.

The campus life is so good and there are many clubs
As the faculty of technology and engineering MSU is best colleges so good placement opportunities
Infrastructure is also good labs are well maintained

Dislikes

Benches are very old and some are very poor for sitting it
Very shoretst ground as compared to other prestigious collage and also in other faculties
And i personally feel, recess time is so small period, students can not manage
