What Students Say

Likes

I like the atmosphere of the college. It is a outside the city in outskirts so it is very peaceful and very silent to have a studies here. Also we have somewhat facility is like outside orders for the order to take away and its also available here to
As a senior say me the curriculum be very easy not easy but average and I have enough time to cover my coverage but now I that in studying in this courses I think it's not enough for me to have placements in future so I am thinking about other course
I like the management hear their managing the towards the dedication towards their education of students and everything do is for Just for our studies so according to our professional career it's okay and I have nothing to complaint about that but it

Dislikes

There are no extra curricular activities in our college and they are not ready to conduct it INS it is outside they are not even care about the cultural for anything so it's very pressure to have college without cultural no enjoyments nothing is ther
You are not even conducting any cultural program meets anything at dances and programs anything other colleges are going on at least average but not there is not even a single culture happen in our college until unless were asking for it and even if
It's just a college is too far away from the city and if anything is urgent if you are in urgent we can't do and we can't be head by anyone in just like in midnights and it's very hard to transpot transport facilities code to you can't have correct e

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is always almost hard what is theory tough to study it if you can concentrate we can have it by the practicals are very smooth but last time I just completed first semester only the practicals very very because of the late open of college to due to the admission process but other than that everything was fine

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

I am still 1st year students I know about I don't know about placements process but the according to seniors I have referred I said it's okay to have placement but we should have good CGPA and wish should have skills and additional course certifications that

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee structure is about divided into two parts has tuition fees and hostel fees tuition fees is about 70000 and hostel fees is over 68500 and next year they are saying they are going to increase our to only our hostel fees may the tuition fees be increased so I plan to change my hostel towards outside the campus now my hostel result inside the campus and that's all.

Campus Life

And there is no in not even a cultures in this college I thought what is going to be in the most of the club activity so I didn't participated any other my just the water to work my studies just that this College cultural it's not even to the standard so the club will be also will be not up so it's my standard so I thought to not participatent

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities full of fraud members actually when the was admissions open the food menu was so nice and the items were even spicy and tasty but now they change the menu of the admissions are closed they change in the menu and as the worst than average food we can't even keep it in or not

Hostel Fee: INR 68500 per year

Admission

It's just that I first like this college because of the atmosphere here available so I just choose it to study here at first so because in outskirts you will be decided by many ways so I decided to study here and it's very good to have a silent atmosphere for study and career purposes

Faculty

In my college I like every courses and teaching me only somewhat like that we can say one one is to A teachers or to argent and some of them or so strict I thought to enjoy the college life teachers should be nice most of them 7 to 8 is 728 there 78 good only the honestly 8 peoples are just just say about that thing more than that I don't have anything to complaint about teachers

Night Life

Then italife of a college is not just was still at nightlife I ever seen in college life we are not allows supposed to roam after 7 o'clock and only allowed to play until 7 and after 7 we are inside our hostel there is no way to room around and after 10 o'clock you are not even supposed to get out of our room

the college provides a decent learning environment and satisfactory infrastructure the course is useful for professional growth and the placement support helps students prepare for interviews and career opportunities.
more pratical training industry visit and placement opportunities with higher salary packages would improve the experience the teaching methods could include more real world case studies the girls to boys ratio varies by batch.

Dislikes

more pratical training industry visit and real world case studies should be included in the mba curriculum to improve learning.

Placement Experience:

the college provides placement opportunities for mba stidents and placement preparation helps improve communication aptitude and intherviews skills students generally become eligible for campus requirements. the companies visiting number of offers and salary packages may vary each year. my expected annual package is aroung 5 lpa. the average and highest packages and the percentage of students placed depend on the placement records of each batch. more company visit and internship opportunities would improve placements further after completing my mba i plan to start my carrer in a management related role gain industry experience and develop my professional skills for future growth.

Likes

girls to boys ratio is 1:1 is we consider all three branches with some courses with more male while other having for female.more or less the ratio is near 1:1
the most important thing for you is there is close to zero discrimination for you , whether you want to join any club or perform anything you are equivalent to students with others bachelor degree
octagon and library are the two things which are good as library is considered the biggest library among all nit's while octagon having 800 computers for students.NSO ground is also well maintained with the beautiful mig fighter jet to take cool phot

Dislikes

for first years hostel are well maintained if compared with others but don't expect much from hostel atlast this is a government college.in first year 3 to 4 person sharing room are there which was build to carry 2 person.
Quant and entrepreneur thing is not there as you might expect by seeing the nirf 9 ranking but it is not zero .they are growing clubs like profNITT and Sigma are young and they could do better
curfew timing for girls are 9 or 9:30 pm i guess be it any year. for boys ,only freshers have curfew with timing 9:30 pm.other than that any student can't step outside the college after 10 pm without the sign out form.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as maths is the mother of all science and quite related to other fields so it opens a lot of door for me like mba ,mtech ,phd or any other things. this course is specifically designed for becoming teachers so keep that in mind before taking this course as they are not flexible in changing curriculum or adding something for the sake of students as of now. also you will be having more working days compared to other courses with 80 percent mandatory attendance.after first sem you will get 1 week holiday and after 2nd sem you will get 50.days holiday and after first year you can expect 20 days holiday for winters and 50 days holiday for summers. you will get a lot of time to study for exams. before ct 1 you can expect 2 months and then atleast a month for ct 2 and endsems. cons are that you don't have the right to choose minor or electives like btech students.you have to compulsory study all three science .i.e. maths , physics, chemistry.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Likes

The gender ratio is fairly close to 1:1 and it provides a proper environment for all to collaborate and interact.
Most of the faculty members are reachable.
Students usually get free by 4PM and have the remainder of the day to explore their own things.

Dislikes

More academics oriented - no room for placements on campus as such.
Unable to choose electives - have to do whatever course is available.
Infrastructurally very basic - lacks a lot of facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

After careful consideration i choose this collage over several collages. The reasons were strong program reputation.the computer science department is highly developed and dedicated and also with a strong ai machine learning and data science they gave us research opportunities and also good trainings.they offer many more comptative packages for freshers and making it an attractive option. The universities diverse student body and vibrant campus life appealed to me.i reject other collage because it have limited seats and bad ambiance. The admission eligibility for this collage is min 3.0/4.0 and also GRE SCORES.gre tests accpted and ielts too.the admission process was smooth and efficient we can do online application thorough online and we can attend interviews too The collage have strong industry departments connections with companies like google microsoft tata amazon recruitments.there are many scholarships provided from the managment and government that are very use full.
