The course astructure here at pes is extro ordinay which has many hackathons and many problem solving competions which is very good. The syllabus is updated regularly every year according to Indsutry standards . The teching mostly be on tv screens andd green boards. The timing of exams will be once in 2 months. The curriculum has many problem solving sessions and hackahthons

The college backs its students to get internships and many students are interned at microsoft , google,zomato etc with the support of college. The reputaion of college helps to get internships off campus also. MAny students get internships just after 1st year and many students contribute to open source like GSOCs

The placements are the main reason why many join pes, They are extremly good with cse avg package 18 lacks and and overall avg package of 14 lacks and highest package of 55-60 lakcs. Mnay students elect for higher studies inspite of having higher education. If we fail to achive placements, alumni networks helps to acquire jobs. Around 75-80 percnt odf students get placed every year with 500 out of 2000 studenst get above 12 lacks

The admission was through kcet,pessat,jee mains, management quoata till 2024 but from 2025,pessat is cancelled and those pessat seats are converted to jee mains and kcet seats. The fee for 1 year is 480000 per year for a pessat quoata and jee mains quota seat. It remains same for the 4 years of graduation. The fee for kcet seat is 130000 per year and remains same for 4 years and fee for management quota seat will be 1000000-1200000 per year. SC,ST candidates will pay only around 50000 fro kcet seat. There are 3 types of schorships given in pes university: 1. MRD scolorships for top 5% of students which gives 50 percent of the tution fee paid. 2. CNR rao scholorships for next 20 % of students that pays 40 percenr of total tution fee paid. 3. 2000 rs will be provided for every student who scores 7.75 and above in that smester.

THere is MAAYA cultural fest and ATMATRISHA techinical and cultural fesy every year, THere are a lot of books and journals which are accesible to everyone.There are projectors and cameras in every classrooms. The exra curricular activities are descent eith cricket, volleball,footblal ground and indoor stadiums for kabddi, badmintion and a gym but they are a bit over crowded on weekends. There are 30+ clubs studenets can enroll in

The hostel facilities are awesome according to the fee paid. THe facilities include hot water, gym, wifi , beds and good tasty food. The quality of food is very good and may feel boring after you eat the sma e menu for some months. BUt the taste is very good copared to other colleges . The rooms are first come and first serve basis. You should pay hostel fee of 130000 through DDs ans you should visit hostel warden to allot you rooms once your seat is confires through counselling.The rooms of hostel are good adn affordable. If you dont get rooms, PGs are availabel close to capus where any of y friends live.

I chose pes over other colleges in bengalore I applied to like RV university, BMSIT, because the p;lacements for cse at PES are extrodinary with avg package for cse is 18 lacks and overall avg package for all branches is 1400000 rs . I chose pes over RVU, BMSIT because of its course curriculum and strong reoutation in industry. I tried for jee mains and jee advanced and bitsat in which I only qulaifed jee mains with 94 percentile. I could not clear bitsat and jee advanced because I didnot have enough prep regarding them. ADMISSION PROCESS TO PES; You need to clear the eligible exams to be eligible for counselling.After counselling you wil;l be given your id card numbers and unique students ids called SRN and PRN numbers. THERE are two campuses of pes which equivalent to each other. 1. RR campus and 2. EC campus. CUTOFFS kcet- 2000 for rr cse, 5000 for ec cse jee mains- 95-96 percentile for ec cse and 96-98 fro rr cse

Many faculties here hold mtech and phd degrees from some of the top colleges and some of them are exceptionally talented and the teaching of some faculties are not upto the mark inspite of having knowledge . The course structure at pes is exceptionally good and syllabus here is updated regularly according to the industry needs every year.there will be two mid semester exams which contribute 40 percent of total marks and one final smester exams which contribute 50 percent of arks and assignment once in semester which contributes 10 percent of marks and lab coponents for subjects like physics , chemistry, python which contributes extra 20 marks for that particular subject. The exams are moderate and very tricky around 10 perxcent of students fail to clear exams .

The hostel entry for 1st year students closes at 7 pm and for higher semester students is 10 pm. The hangount places are movie theatres near our college and play arenas near to college. The caampus timings are 8 am to 4 pm
