The cirriculum of the college is very nice.. there is a good oportunity for placement .. sports facility is the reason i choose this college Offered a well structured curriculum that blends theoretical knowledge with practical application.

Internships and industry projects Students can work with faculty on research projects, Offered every semester.Placements: 60% of the students get placed after the degree with an average package of INR 8 LPA, and the highest package is INR 13 LPA. Companies like Byjus, Tata, etc. are the top recruiters. The maximum number of roles offered to students were managerial roles in the companies.

Placement Experience

TCS, Wipro, L&T Infotech, HCL and other companies visit my college campus every year. Fees and Financial Aid

SMVDU fee structure is a cumulative of components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, caution deposit, etc. Hostel fee is only valid for students opting for the accommodation facility. Candidates have to pay the course fee at the time of admission and then as per the frequency set by the institute. Once the candidates are selected for SMVDU admissions, they have to pay the programme fee.

Campus Life

Our college has a very beautiful and peaceful campus with an awesome view of Trikuta and Kailash mountains directly from the university. (51 Reviews) The facilities like Wi-Fi, playground, computer labs, indoor auditorium, library, medical dispensary, conference hall, volleyball courts, football courts etc.

Admission

I chose this college because its program in B TECH. ECE aligns perfectly with my academic interests and career goals, offering a strong curriculum with while also providing a supportive campus which I believe will be crucial for my overall development as a student.

Faculty

Very knowledgeable faculty having done M.Tech and/or PhD from IITs and even foreign universities. (37 Reviews) The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it will appear as an effective learning process. (26 Reviews) Dislikes You can get admission to this university without JEE Mains and a university entrance exam if you know someone in the academic department. (20 Reviews) Except for a few senior professors in the engineering departments, the current pool of teachers lacks knowledge, experience and competency

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

One thing I liked about my college is Huge campus area.
Other thing l liked about my college is good infrastructure
Another thing I liked about my college is well experienced faculty

Dislikes

The thing I disliked about my college is delay in your any complain

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester. Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college. Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA . Almost 30 percent students get placement. My plan is to get off campus placement.

Likes

College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

A comprehensive Review

Likes

Firstally i like in my college is hostel it is located in college campus .
The second thing like in my college is campus area located in between mountain.
the last thing is about one teacher he help me in everything.

Dislikes

The first thing i do not like is transport in my college it is the major problem in my college.
The second thing is there are no proper lectures everyday one of them faculty is absent
The last thing is not a proper medical facielities

Placement Experience:

The placement at my college are fairly strong, with a focus on proving opportunities for student in both technical field and non-technical fields. various reputed companies visit our campus for placement like TCS, infosys, and many more.The highest package aroun INR 40 LPA. the majority of the offers are for cybersecurity. My plan is for business after the degree.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students. I don't get any rejection from any other colleges....Read More
