Dislikes
- The timing of the regular college, as sometimes it takes continuously classes 9am to 6:30pm
- The college is not situated in Dehradun, it is situated in industrial area Selaqui which is 22km away from dehradun.
- The semester wise system is not working here they run their college as of Quarters where 2 quarters makes 1 semester
Course Curriculum Overview
As I have interest in Global Trade and Business and also in furture i wanted to start my own Export business thats why i have chosen this subject. I have also heard good reviews of this college from peoples.
Internships Opportunities
As i am seeing now many companies are approaching in the college for the internship. some of which are giants and overall performance of career development cell is very good as they are working hard to take companies in the college
Placement Experience
The placements are not excellent but good placement provided by the college as from my side i can say it, all depends on student hardwork as college also provide assistance in getting the placement and helps in weakness turns into strengths.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I have opted for MBA in Internatiional Business including of foreign tour at DBS Global University, Dehradun. If we talk about tution fee it is 780000 for 2 years and other fees and other fees will cost arround 1-1.3 Lakh for 2 years. I also opted for college hostel which is costing around 200000 per year. College also provide certain scholarship based on competitive exams results like - CAT,CMAT, etc. and also for Uttrakhand domicile students.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good. Each and every festivals is celebrated in a proper way. The management also assist in managing all the events. one of the biggest fest is also celebrated which is named as DGU Carnival which is celebrated in April. Its my first year so im also exited about it.
Hostel Facilities
As i live in hostel only, the overall facility is very good but they lack in providing food in proper way. If they change their way of cooking i can say it proudly that you will never found hostel like this
Admission
I have chosen this college over other college because of Less fees in doing MBA in International Business with good package rate. Talk about the admission process they conduct personal interview and writing ability and after that in 2-3 working days they declare the result
Faculty
The faclties at DGU was very good and cooperative and also every faculty is experienced in their field. Their way of teaching is also very good. But the problem is Faculty to student ratio is less approx 45 students per faculty
Interview Experience
First of all I have filled the admission form which cost me around 1500 and later on the specfic date direct oersonal interview is conducted which was taken for about 30-35 minutes and than after i have to write a letter on the given topic
Night Life
As i stay in college hostel so it doesn't allow us to rome outside after 9 pm. But outside the campus the life is excellent as per my friends suggestions. In hostel facilities which is provided are Gym, 8 ball pool table, table tennis, badminton court and study room.
