I choose this course as I want to become a teacher .The curriculum prepare me for real world applications or further academic pursuits by providing knowledge.To enhance course curriculum and teaching method , focus on student centred learning.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 650rs to take admission in digboi college.Also for 2nd semester I have been paid 650.And for 3rd semester I have been paid 4500.After that for 4th semester we pay 900 as promotion fee.I have been paid 1250 for registration.

Campus Life

Digboi college organised college week in the month January or February.This college organised introduction program in August.College library has lots of book like reference,novel, competitive based books etc.Thos college offered to participate in intercollege competitions.

Admission

I only applied on digboi college.As from beginning I want to take admission in digboi college.Digboi college is the best college among all the other northeast colleges.So I choose this college to complete my further study.There no cutoff marks for taking admission in this college.

Faculty

Our department have 5 faculty.Faculties are supportive towards students.I like all the teachers as they teach us very well and support us.They behaves like friends to understand us.Our college organised three exams two sessional and one is semester final.Only few students are fail in exams.

Interview Experience

I didn't face any group discussion. That helped a lot to form an initial base of where to start and what all basic things I need to know mandatorily for every interview.I got my answers checked by my mentors in Mindworkzz

Night Life

Gym open in morning and evening time.Cafeterias open at class time and library also open at class time . College campus gate open from 6am to 8pm.Hostel returning time is 7pm.There are no hangout places inside the college.Outside the college we can hangout in park and market.The locality is not that safe to roam around at night .

I would rate in quite highly in terms of both relevant and competative the subjects are well aligned and current industry standards and current needs it includes both theoretical need and both practical need at the same time..

Likes

I like the infrastructure of our college.
Our college have enough rooms and halls to accommodate huge number of students
Digitalisation in teaching methods in all classrooms.

Dislikes

Toilet is still not clean as promised by our GS.
Lack of equipments in practical laboratories.
Cleanliness and hygiene are a bit off track.

The course prepares well for students as the acedemic results is always good which will make gratutides well equipped for jobs. Some sections of the course should be updated to meet the latest technology, more guests lectures and the interships should be provided to the students. The exams clustering of multiple exams should be within times which relases unneccsary stress, the exams are conducted easy to insane which is very challenging for the students.

Our department (botany) has well experienced and knowledgeable professor's who guided us both practically and theruotically which help us to gain knowledge at a faster rate
The most important thing is that our department always go for practical experience i.e.through trip.
The department often conducts seminars and guest lecturers

Dislikes

As a student of Aryavidyadpeeth college, it is very difficult to be part of our college,as the department is very popular
Due to high popularity, the college campus is very crowded, which sometimes leads to overcrowding
There is a very limited seats in hostel, the outstation students faces many difficulties to stay nearby the college.

Scholarly help and studying materials related to the course are provided by the college however the result are mostly based on self studying due to inefficient management by faculties. The college lacks proper workshops and programs to prepare the students for real world circumstances.

All the faculty are very learned and helpful. They make an effort and are very invested in our progress
The infrastructure is very modern with multiple laboratories and conference halls. Construction work is going on for increasing the campus area and buildings
Apart from departmental libraries, the college boasts a central library with a large collection of books, articles and journals

Dislikes

Need for a separate parking area for students
Canteen and cafeteria space should be increased
Seat capacity should be increased in the common room

The requirements for 1st semester students is to choose 7 subjects. Core subject, Minor subject, SEC (skill enhancement course), IDC (inter disciplinary course), AEC (ability enhancement course) and two compulsory VAC (value added courses) of EVS and AIS (ancient Indian studies)

Remarks:

I have no bad remarks about the college because the college is located in the lush green area and has all the facilities for the students such as a computer lab, library, canteen, drinking water plant, and playgrounds.

Entrance Preview:

Firstly, we had to apply for respective departments which one wants to take an honours. Then ,cut off percent is taken out and students are given admission to that department as honours student.

Your every expectations going to be true in this digboi college

I had applied for many other colleges but my first priority was this college so I took admission on this college and I never regret after getting admission in this college. A great college with great authority

In my research, I have found that Digboi college is the better than other colleges of our tinsukia district. I have applied many college for further studies like doomdooma college, tinsukia college etc. and I got addmission call from these colleges but I choose digboi college for further studies, because digboi college has many new and valueable courses and there is a very beautiful campus. the addmission process was very simple, during addmission we have select one major and minor subject and after that we should pay the addmission fees in college counter.
