What do you need to know before choosing Panjab University

It really depends upon the course itself. A good curriculum includes preparing students for what's out there. Faculty here teaches the core concepts along with staying up to date with the trends and new technologies, it helps to connect the theory part with practicals. Therefore our course is relevant and comprehensive.

In physics there are two degrees physics hons and physics hons with specialization in electronics. The yearly fee structure of sp. in electronics is around 80000 with admission fees along with tuition fees. The other course's fees is around 14000 yearly. There are many scholarships according to 12th merit.

Many fests are conducted in the university but typically they are held on the month of February and March. Various genre books are available in the library not just academic but also for the purpose of entertainment. Many sports meets are also held on the time of the even semesters. Every department has many clubs regarding their subject and other than the subjects which gives exposure to students.

I applied for Post Graduate Government College sector 11 Chandigarh and got accepted for the course Bachelor of Science (Non medical). But then I got admission in Panjab University and chose PU because of its faculty and campus. There is an exam pucet for admission in Panjab University. Cutoff for general category is around 85 percentile and the other respective categories cutoff depends on the merit

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:6 Faculty is friendly and cooperative by nature. They are approachable. Dr. KS bindra is one of the best faculties he pursued his PhD from USA and is very talented in his own field. There are 8 semesters according to the NEP and there are 16 exams along with the mid semester exams and around 10% of the class aren't able to pass.

There is no hostel or campus timings for either girls or boys which gives an independent life to students but also comes with many responsibilities but the nightlife in campus is totally safe and sound, police is an their patrolling duty overnight. Stu-c is famous hangout place in the university.
