NIT SRINAGAR: REVIEW

the curriculum is on better side as it is relevant. according to my jee main scorecard i able to take mechanical branch in this college. the course cirriculum is industry relevant and make able to students job ready. there are two exams mid sem and there is one end sem.

Yes the college is provides the better internship opportunities as compare to others . in the 2nd and 3 rd year students are able to grap internships of nearly 50 to 75 thousands rupees in a month. the college help students to take it. various companies arrive in campus to provide internship and make students industry ready.

the placements from nit srinagar are on decent side. here from my ME branch almost 95 percentage of students got placed. the avg package is of around 13.8 lpa. And the highest package is off 37 lakh per annum of mechanical engineering branch. major companies are cognizant infosys samsung acc and others also.

The total fee for btech course is 205000 rupees per annum this includes the tutuion fee and also the hostel fee and the mess fee of one year of my course.this also includes one time registration fee of 16500 rupees This is the fee for students having family income of above 5 lpa. Those students whose family income is less than 250000 per year have to sumit thier income certificate and enjoys 100 percent off on tution fee. students are able to avail scholarships at national scholarship portal and apply for it if eligible as per their category.

there is strong bonds among the students so they get benefit of it. There are many technical and non teachnical fest and festivals are organised on a regular basis. SRIJAN is annual cultural and techanical festival of this college. along with there are many others are organised on a regular basis. sports facilites of all games are available.

i take hostel and almost total students of this college live in hostels of this college because it provides the better quality of food and life style and also better accomdations. the quality of meal is on better side and is affordable to all the students because of its low cost. there is no students who live near college on rented a room or a pg as i know till now.

I take this college mechanical engineering branch in last round of CSAB counselling as per my jee main score. this college provides a better placements opportunites and also off in fee as per my category so i decided to take this college. placements are on a better side. In others colleges the fee taken is high and there is less opportunites in others college were i applied for it. the admission i taken through CSAB counselling.

the faculity of my branch is soo good and they try so hard to make students give miximum output to pass semester exams. the ratio of faculity to student is on 15 to 20 students there is one faculty member. i like most the our mechanical teacher because he continuously guide me what to do. The level of exam is moderate or some harder side.

I like most the night life of this college because it is full of piece and cold winds i like to travel inside the campus in nights. generally in hostels students managed to sleep at very late in night. and at this time students are able to gather and discuss and play sports. the library is open and the timing of hostels are around 11 pm or higher as per flexibility in rules.
