Course Curriculum Overview

2

Alot of changes are there in the curriculum which is overlaps with the actual curriculum that they had given us priorly. Overall the course curriculum can be changed for the better and make it easier for us

Placement Experience

2

I think from the fourth year the placement starts. I am not really sure about the placements here so i cannot really provide much details here. Since our batch is being handled by a company they are the ones who are providing an internship

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 1,12,000 semster wise which totals upto 2,24,000 yearly. Admission fees are 26,000. There are other branches like Software Product Engineering , Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and other courses which has a fees of 1,00,000. No sholarship is there for engineering students.

Campus Life

2

The campus life here is okay, it is is not really nice . Sports are there , you can choose any if you want. You will be put into specific houses by the sports faculties. Annual days are held and it is okay

Hostel Facilities

1

I have not much to say about the hostel . It literally is no better at all. I would preferably would move into a PG or an apartment rather than staying here in this hostel. The food to mention is not even that good

Admission

I had gotten alot of opportunities in other colleges, but I chose this one college. But now I actually regret it and I really would choose any other college other than this one. This college only has alot of cons than pros.

Faculty

3

The faculties are short staffed. There is a shortage of mentors which leads to clubbing of classrooms. Only one or two faculties are good ar their job , whereas some are okay , not all faculties are good

Interview Experience

3

There were no particular interviews for admission nothing of that sort. There are absolutely no exams at all to get admission in this college. So for that prior itself to take admission we have to pay 26,000.

Night Life

1

The campus here closes at around 6:30 P.M . The hostels are boring and literally too costly. I personally defintely like the hostel at all , the food is also not that good. There are not any hangout places nearby and stuff.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs
