Course Curriculum Overview

Information Technology is a core branch, in upcoming years we can choose which field we have to go. There are workshop for every coding languages after semester. But they should give more time for the coding language.

Internships Opportunities

Yes we can apply for the internship according to the skills we have. Using LinkedIn we can find the internship and make projects which can be beneficial for the future career option. Infosys and Wipro give offers

Placement Experience

From from 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placement. Capgemini, TCS ,Wipro, Infosys visited and their mass recruiter. The highest placement which was offered to a girl 51 lacs in Microsoft 2-3 years ago.

Fees and Financial Aid

The first year fees of the college is rupees 1,79,400 and 2nd year it will decrease to approx 154000. The tuition fee first year is 118400. Registration fees of aktu is rs 20000. There are many BTech courses like information technology, computer science, AI, aiml, iot, data science. There is a different amount of scholarship for different categories. 59600 for OBC including hostel. 63 500 including hostel for general and more than 1 lakh for SC ST.

Campus Life

There are many clubs like coding club, gaming club, dance club, khushiyan bato club. There are many events like an it got talent sports day. Dsw club which includes many clubs. Which is beneficial for the student.

Hostel Facilities

The food quality is very good. The give us food 4 times a day. 93600 for 4 students non AC. 114600 for 4 students. It is spacious good playground and warden is friendly. There is a special foods for Sunday. it is hygienic.

Admission

I applied for the VIT vellore college and aktu NIET. I have the domicile of Uttar Pradesh and it was near to my home. It was autonomous which has several benefits. There are many extra topics which they help us to grow like aptitude.

Faculty

70:1. The relationship between the students and faculty is very good they help us to do well in our respective field. There are three sessional and one semester examination. It is an autonomous college which is beneficial for students

Night Life

There is a gym in the main campus plot 19, canteen, library. There is a gym which is 2 km away. The metro station is to kilometres. There is a market like Alpha one, pari chawk. There is a college hostel. The college timings is 7:00 p.m. in the evening.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . I did not apply i any other college as i wanted to study in NIET only . The admission process of mt college is very simple it happens through either cuet or either percentage based of 12th class . Minimum % of 45% is required. Admission happen through either cuet, jee main, UPCET, merit based direct admission. General cutoffs are approximately 80k to 2lakh ranks .
