- Excellent Placements, the college now provide International Training and Placements in France, USA and New Zealand
- Very Good Stipend Internships...this year few students who went to New Zealand are geetting around 16-17 Lakhs in 5 Months
- Labs are very good and very big, they college organizes also national events
Dislikes
- All is good, but the college has lot of theory and practical classes 5 days...very tiring
- Hostel Food is Ok could be better for all students
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus is very comprehensive and includes management aspects and this year it was changed to NEP, i think as per the new policy. We have real projects and seminars and a lot of activities for our development. From the time I have taken admission, we have organized 2 International Conference in 5 Star Hotel, a lot of people from New Zealand and other countries came as speakers
Placement Experience
Most of students get more than 2 placements. They placement is over in 1 Month and now a lot of students are being placed in Europe, USA, Mauritius with a very good package. They are also placing students in Retails, FMCG, Entertainment and other areas. But i think the fee that we pay, we can get back only in third year when students can go for Internship, as they can earn more than 6-7 Lakhs and palcements is just too good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Total Fee is around 490000 INR Registration Fee is 50000 which is included in 490000 There is a Alumni Fee of 5000, also included in the total fee There are few scholarships available as this course is affiliated to AICTE and college also gives to deserving candidates Only exam fee is charged by University every 6 months, around 1200/ per semester There is also no hidden fee
Campus Life
Campus Life is good, we have a lot of Activities. We have Sports event and there is a huge sports complex, almost all sporting are there. Yoga and Gym is also available. All classrooms are having all technologies and we also are trained in Systems that will help us when we get job in hotels and this is free. Eateries are there and there are 2 large water bodies, simply awesome It is a, i think 24-25 acre campus. There are 4-5 Clubs and we also get chance to learn French.
Admission
I think this is the best college in West bengal and this was the first college having BHMCT in Eastern part of India. A lot of students have passed from the area i belong and are doing good in Innternational Locations. I was too impressed and so i joined this college. Admission is through GD and Written Test, followed by a Interview. Actually they look for your communication and your thought about this industry.
Faculty
We have 4 Continuous Assessment in a Semester, which is followed by Semester Exam Faculty to Students Ratio is around1 fcaulty for 15 Students (approx) Faculties are good and have good experience in India and International They are Strict, but good Exams are not very hard and most of the students get around 75 percent, actually we are happy with teaching quality
Interview Experience
There were 3 rounds GD Interview Written Test But written test was more on english, maths and reasoning. Interview questions were easy, i think they wanted to check our communication. I was just relaxed and spent time on reasoning as one of my brother's friend who has passed from the same collge told to concentrate on the same.
Night Life
Durgapur is a hotspot with a lot of places to visit in and around it. Stduents do go for Movies and there is a mall loacted 15 mins from college. Cafetaria is located in the campus, but we have to return by 9 pm on weekdays in hostel. However, Durgapur is very safe
