- I think compulsory uniform at such a large university should be given up now as every college has civil dress code these days.
Course Curriculum Overview
BBA in strategic management is my specialization is and if one needs job they has to have some form of specialization otherwise it is virtually impossible to attain knowledge and skils. This was one of the prime reason i chose this course as i know this is how, i will be able to learn and have the required knowledge of the industry.
Internships Opportunities
Well Nestle India and P&G India are two major companies offering internships and that too to first year students with a stipend of 8-10k. Luckily i am from Gujarat and they offered me the same at GIFT City in Gujarat and therefore i enjoyed my vacations at home and at the same time did my internships as well.
Placement Experience
Christ comes in top 10 universities when it comes to placements. The university has lived upto the expecation as every company needs strategic management students and especially the real estate developers and FMCG companies. So, FMCG companies like Nestle, HUL, and P&G are among our best recruiters who hires our BBA batch students with a package no less that 40-50k a month.
Fees and Financial Aid
Christ University Bengaluru is one of the most famous colleges in India and it is that famous that students not just from Indian states but even far off countries too come and study here. Fees is also not so high as 2 lakhs a year i feel is very sound because it is Christ afterall. Christian Students gets an automatic scholarship here as it's their trust college afterall.
Campus Life
Yeshwantpur campus where our campus is built in 25 acres and has half of it dedicated for sports and outdoor actuvities. 3 canteens, 2 hostel buildings for girls and a campus that has hundreds of cameras to monitor is one of the safest place a girl can live in. Now about fests there are two major fests and they are IRIS and Esprit.
Admission
Kristu Jayanti which is also the sister college of Christ University is where i thought off. However, the college is small and also education here and at Kristu Jayanti is of daylight difference. Both Christ and Kristu Jayanti have an entrance and i gave them both but ultimately decided to go with the former as it is arguably the best.
Faculty
Equaltiy and impartiality is what our faculties believe in therefore an impartial teaching is what we recieve here. In times where religious issues are occuring daily and maintaining peace and equality is something that we are taught first. Coming to their teaching prowess as they say in Brit, Bloddy Hell is what the first exclamation which comes out of my word for them as they are that savage not just good.
Night Life
I am a Gujarati and for me ISKCON Temple nearby our campus makes it one of the best hangout place. Besides that we have Commercial Street, Cubbon Park and Lalbagh Botanical Garden to name a few places where we mostly head post the college hours.
