Remarks

As i had many memories in this college, i have noticed both positive and negative stuffs about my college. But overall i don't think there is anything seriously negative about my college. So the remarks are neutral.

Placement Experience

1

No these things are not present in our college, we can only do u.g courses and no campus placement takes place. But the teachers are good at guiding students and help them make decisions about their next step after graduation.

College Events

4

Social, Sports, Independence day, Republic day, Anniversary etc On Social our college authority hires some good artists like singers, dancers, dj, and we students are allowed to have a party until late at night. Other events on the list are celebrated just with a speech by our principal and some packets of sweets are distributed among the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasible. It's a government college situated in a place which is 60% rural and 40% urban. Fee structure was planned according to the residents of here and it's very much affordable even for the kids of a labour.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college staff has information for students who want loan or scholarship, and even with 70-80% of marks scored by students in class 12 they are eligible for filling up some of the scholarships, not only that, each of the student did got the scholarships for sure.

Campus Life

3

As a college being run using very less funding it actually does these thing good enough for us. Labs were not perfect equipments were sometimes in a poor state but it was enough for us students to learn something. I don't know much about sports section, but our college had a seperate field away from the main campus for conducting football, cricket matches and our campus had only tennis and badminton courts.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, i didn't opted for Hostel. But the hostel infrastructure was good enough. I never opted for a Hostel cause my home was near to the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Yea, there were helpful and cared for their juniors. Senior students were never rude to the juniors, ragging never takes place in our college. If a junior is in trouble then the seniors of alumni network won't stop until their problems are resolved.

Admission

I filled online forms and then counseling happened according to the Merit list. On the day of admission students are categorised in different groups like gen, obc, sc, st etc. The procedure is lengthy and every category of student had seats reserved for them.

Faculty

4.5

Teachers are supportive and friendly, judging by the state of our college we had very capable teachers actually. Every teacher considered us students of different caste, religion or financial state as equal.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
