Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course Artificial intelligence and data science engineering is a stream which is on high demand nowadays. In every field we're kinda to apply artificial intelligence to make human works easier.since we didn't evolve into our department in our first year we didn't gain much knowledge about our course knowledge

Internships Opportunities

5

Our college provides a good placements in companies like wipro, cognizant, blackstraw.ai, accenture, Infosys and so on. We are offered internships with a stipend upto 60,000. Our students had done their works on our first satelite installation which brings a special recognition to our college

Placement Experience

5

Our college is well known for its placements only..many students from other states and countries like bihar ,assam, Odisha have joined because of the affordablity and the placements offered. Around 90 percent of students got offered by companies. To be honest in our department the last batch completed were 51 peoples out of which 48 were placed on top companies and the rest 3 chose abroad studies and currently pursuing their higher studies. To share about my plans after getting the degree is to open up a company..and we are working on a project currently to build a AI fashion app also in my first academic year itself I won the prize in ideathon and my idea was registered for patent.

Fees and Financial Aid

For TNEA counselling based students under MBC category the fees structure would be Tution fees: 50000 Prevention and anti ragging fees:250 University recognition fees:2600 Establishment and other charges:63000 Bus fees for more than 10km:27000 Bus fees for less than 10km:10000 Bus fees for greater than 30km:33000 For management students the fees is around 250000 and for some varies. For non native indians it varies upto 400000 of donation

Campus Life

5

During oru first year we got an opportunity for the exposure of interests by engaging with clubs. On every Saturdays we have clubs like python programming, dance, music, AR/VR,game development, arts and crafts and so on. Students with their own interests they keep growing with the club members. To share about cultural events we were arranged about 21 events on culturals which is happening about 2 days. Students are welcomed to carry on their own stalls and many activities like fun activities and car racing bike racing too

Admission

I had applied for SRM eshwari on my TNEA counselling but unfortunately I didn't get seat over there. And my second choice is my college in which I got my course.comparing with other colleges my college provides a good placement and a knowledge over the purpose of various fields.many alumini of our college were successful and were landed on a good salary packaged job and many were entrepreneurs owning their own companies.

Faculty

5

The faculty to students ratio will be around 4:9.The faculty students relationship are really good we can share our personal problems too. I really loved Arthi.D mam if artificial intelligence and data science department who believed in me and has proven best results over many students. Also Aarthi ma'am my first semester maths teacher really inspired me a lot..on my first award for academic topper many of my faculties supported me a lot and appreciated personally. To be honest I don't have any unlike faculties who are harsh.. everyone is quite good as of now I had seen. Totally we have 2 semester per year and 8 semester upon completion of our course. We have internals which is classified as Continuous assessment 1 followed be continuous assessment 2 and then a model examination with model practicals. Our internals contribute 40 marks over 100 and our semester contributes 60. Exams are not that much difficult and also not so easy..It is moderate and once if you read you can easily get a good score. Mostly everyone can get a CGPA of around 8 but scoring more than 9 is really kinda tough work. Since I'm just entering into my 2nd year now..we didn't have exposed to our department.throughout our first year we had only general syllabus which is common for all department first years .

Interview Experience

5

No I didn't had any test for the admission since I got it through TNEA ranking basis only. I had scored a cutoff of 168 in my CBSE board examination and I ranked around 60 thousands In the TNEA ranking.

Night Life

3

Our college provides gym for hostellers and has a library from where we can take books around some period of time and after the time period gets over we can pursue it once after renewal. We have a famous spot called darshana spot from the movie hrudayam which is malayalam movie shooted in our college campus. We do have 3 open stages and 2 big auditoriums and one sports indoor auditorium and a cricket open area. To share about the safety, on night times girls were not allowed to go outside also the boys. Watchmans and bodyguards were available 24/7.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.
