Remarks

I am part of the rampurhat college. The college premises is quite good .And maintaining is that the college is well maintained.College have Manny trees planted within it.The principal also very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is a 3 years course .We have seat final exam in every year. There is no option for retaking final exam if anyone unable to get the pass marks in one single year .the full marks in the exam is 100.and total time for exam is 4 hours

Placement Experience

2

There is no placement cell in our college. There is also no option for internship. As it is a degree college so hoping for placement is not good I think so.It also not self governing college it is under burdwan university.

College Events

3.5

After taking admission college celebrate New comers and organize a social program in the college premises. We celebrate swarasoti puja every year, Other than these two festival college celebrate some calendar festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We have to pay 75 rupees per month as a tution fess towards college .else than these their are many charges including generator hostel health sports library.tution divided into two parts.1st taken at the time of admission and 2nd part at the time of fess submission for exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

Colleges personally do not provid any scholarships.I asked the Register of the college but he denied and tell me that they don't have any option for scholarship.Rather than college scholarship there are few scholarship provide bu the govt to the student.

Campus Life

5

Labs are quite good .We have separate lab for each and every subject which one need lab .there are 2 labs for physics.1 lab for math which includes 24 computer within it .there are also separate lab for chem Geo zoology botany.

Alumni/Alumna

Ever senior of the college ate too helpful.they help in every aspect. If we faced any difficult we go to then for solution and after listening everything then they put solution before us and let us decided which one best for us at that moment

Admission

First we have to fill the online application form and have to pay Registration fees. After online application process over merit list published subject wise .If you got selected in merit list then you will get a message in your registered mobile number .After that we have login in college admissions portal then we have to pay admission fees .that's all.admission is done.

Faculty

3

All faculty of math department are good.some of them are PhD holder .and have passed their post graduation from renowned college of India. All the teacher are permanent there are no lectureer.Beahaviour of all teachers are too good.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
