Course Curriculum Overview

5

The biggest issue I face is the timing of exams they always delay the exams to the last brink of time and it is seriously so so annoying as for example if I have to fill my form of CUET PG in February I am very sure my college wouldn't happen until october no matter what and result after 2 and half months so this doesn't align well with other things while the other courses of the same bundelkhand university happen on time till june or july but this course ah God always late....as far as the Curriculum is concerned it fabulous fantastic mind blowing and excellent it teaches us about the real world on how to be a good teacher how to understand your students also care for the differently abled ones how to manage a school how to do anything it teaches us all....the thing that inspired me the most to choose the course is obviously the Curriculum. From the very beginning I had a deep interest in these topics and subjects and I feel so good to learn about them...also the exsms happen once a year which is both good and both. And I don't have any further suggestions

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is pretty good. Itself infrastructure is calming because of the greenery. Personally I have paid 35000? per year as my college fees but it may defer from personal connections and negotiations with the school administrative head and my parents usually pay the fees via cheques or online payment method. And as per the scholarship details..I tried filling the form for the same but I couldn't because of certain documents not available but in the 2nd & 3rd year I did fill thr scholarship form and Didn’t get any amount because maybe I am in general category that's why I'm not very sure about it although in the 2nd year of my college I did get a Lava phone from some government scheme but it was labelled as I was a 1st year student when I clearly was in 2nd year so yeah this again I am not sure about...About my batchmates they too pay the same amount of fees...but as my parents have connections so instead of 35,000? per year we only pay ?25,000( inside details)...so yes the Lava phone can be considered a financial aid but I didn’t get any scholarship amount in the 2 year that I filled the scholarship form but yes It came to my knowledge that some of my classmates as well as friends who are in OBC/SC/ST category have definitely gotten their scholarship amount this year(2025) and as far as previous years are concerned for the same i pretty much don't remember if they got or not. And also I had to pay 100rs.(mandatory) For the scholarship form to the college. And apart from my fees their is an exam fees which ranges between 4 to 5 thousand which is mandatory to all. Also the staff is really nice and the principal Sir is also a very helpful, approachable and amiable person as he caters very well to the needs of us,-students.

Campus Life

1

There are no clubs and groups in my college as students are pretty non chalant about college life and are usually there for the course to be completed as soon as possible so they can get their degrees and move on from here so yes no special enthusiasm can be seen in the students of my college for any groups or activities....the only sport I have seen students of my college play is football that too they don't know how to play so they mostly run around the ball like dogs and don't know anything about sports. For the Technological provisions-there aren't any in my college there is just one black board and chairs/tables in which we study. That's it....the library is big with tables chairs and books but as I have mentioned earlied it only has books for the students of hindi medium and we just don't visit library much. I got myself a library card in the 1st year of my college but I have not borrowed a single book from there and didn't even get another library card in the years that followed as I didn't need one....Yes there are many activities and festivals that happen in which girls of my college do take part mostly independence day, republic day, etc. Thats it nothing too fancy but not bad. Not many students attend not even for free laddus.

Admission

So I applied for CUET and thought for the best colleges outside this city but unfortunately I didn't get any college via CUET so I had only a few options left to choose from in this city as other colleges were already closed for admission. So I had DVC in mind as my first priority but unfortunately it didn't have this course so dropped that and then ghanaram because my friend was there but It was really far away so eventually I came to this decision to apply in this college banshidhar Mahavidyalaya affiliated to BU Jhansi it was very close to my house and also pretty decent it seemed to me at first. As you know I didn't have many options so I won't say this was my dream college but yes this college is good too so I chose this. My score was pretty low for the course B.el.ed and the college options for this course are also very scarce so the merit went High and that's why I'm here now. There is no such great process or eligibility to apply in banshidhar you can simply apply just have decent marks in class 12th and there are no entrance exams for the same not cut off and all. The admission experience was a like gust of wind...it came and went just like that

Faculty

The student ot faculty ratio is good as most of the students don't attend college very much so the students who do go get full attention of the teachers. And also the faculty is very approachable and overall good. I wouldn't comment on which teacher I liked the most as I barely attend college much so I am not very aware of them. Talking about 1st year there are 6 subjects and 2nd year 5 subjects and 3rd year 5 subjects and 4th year 3 subjects ..so are the number of exams they are pretty decent but there are many out if the syllabus questions popping up in the exams which maybe I don't know we have to answer from our common sense otherwise pretty good exams...I don't think anyone fails everyone passes mostly...the course Curriculum is very very relevant and I love reading my books they don't seem like school books and are so fun to read and gain information(really) I could read those books in my free time as well they tell us about psychology of everything.

Night Life

There is only one shop right in front of my college gate which sells chips and all basic shop. Although there was a samosa shop next to it when I was midway in my 1st year but it closed due to some reasons I'm not aware of. They have built the college in the deepest of the corners and it is very hard to find firsly because it infrastructure from outside looks like a normal house one might be mistaken if it is a house or college and also is deep deep in the street alley so yes not very convenient. ..yes there is also a hostel in my college but only for girls...and they cook there own food there is no mess service for them and I'm not very sure of the timings of the hostel as I had very little interaction with the hostelers. But the living condition is decent up there on the second floor of my college for the students. The hostel warden is a female, she is a very petite lady but very cunning and judgemental she is very nosy too and full of attitude.( i dislike her)can't remember her name

I did my B.Ed. from Eram Girls Degree College. It is a minority institution managed by Eram Educational Society, and i like how the college is progressing as from just B.Sc. PCM, it now offers B.Sc. in 7-8 streams. Overall infrastructure and most of the faculty is good, while education quality can be improved further.
