Likes
- Campus is lush green, well maintained road, good development going on around the campus, new department building is being made.
- New faculties are dedicated and teach well, student is to faculty ratio is good, professors are experinced and some are helping.
- Good security system for hostels, sex ratio is better than other engineering collages, a lot of events are being held by different clubs around the year, campus is joyful.
Dislikes
- Restrictions for first year is too long about 3-4 months, boys hostels are old, only one ground of cricket and football, no seperate ground for hockey, indoor under renovation.
- For doing any new thing or bringing up an idea takes a lot of approvals and signs.
- Girls can be out till 8:00 pm only for first year its 6:00 pm
Course Curriculum Overview
Course syllabus allign with gate syllabus, it focuses on core learning. Proper labs are taken to give us real world application, course is changed from 2024 to make it industry oriented. It can be improved by reducing tutorials and increasing lab timings. Coading as a subject is not included for core branches, it can be added to make academics better. Exams are taken in the interval of 2 months and are of moderate level.
Internships Opportunities
Traning and placement cell gives timely opportunity for final and third year student for internships. Mostly are IT sector. There is compulsory internship programme for everyone in third year and there is also a social internship done in NGOs for second year students.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem onwards. BHEL offered 19 students with 12 lpa. Amazon offered 3 students with 45 lpa.( offcampus ) In campus highest placement is 22 lpa. in campus avg placement is 5 lakhs. most of the job offers are from sales and managements. Few core campanies also visits and changes year by year managed by training and placement cell of MMMUT. 80% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
FOR B.tech year wise fees- 200000 approx academic fees - 137000 / year ( transportation, lab fee, development charges included ) hostel fees - 24000 / year mess fees - 18000 / sem caution fees- 10000 fee waiver is there for fw categories, based on JEE mains rank(8 in every branch ), in which complete academic fees is waivered. schollarship is there for UP students for categories : EWS - 58000 OBC - 65000 ST/SC - 128000 other state - no scholarship FOR bba year wise fee - 72000 FOR b.pharm year wise fee - 1,10,000 ( other charges same as b.tech)
Campus Life
Overall experince is very good. I participated in most of the events and there are prize money too. Every club organise their own fest and they all are exciting and focuses on different aspects. Annual fest - Abhudaya Technical fest - Techsrijan Sports fest - Aayas library is quite good, have books of wide variety and in both digital and physical form, affiliated to NDLI club of IIT KGP. Clubs which run in MMMUT SAE IEEE CULTURAL SYNOD SPORTS SUB COUNCIL STUDENT LIBRARY COUNCIL ASPAK MMMUT RESO all branches have their society of their own.
Hostel Facilities
Some rooms are tiled some are cemented. Hostels are old. other facilities are good and things happen timely. wifi available. Mess is just average. hostels are alloted during time of admission and changed after every 2 semesters. In mess 4 time meal is given.
Admission
This collage has good return on investement. Its campus size is huge. On the basis of rank this collage offers decent placement. It is better than other state collages of UP. I applied ti NITs but could not enter because of low rank(80000). Its NIRF is increasing year by year and cutoff decreasing. Its application procedure is simple. Things are held first online then offline verification is done. Selection is done on the basis of JEE mains rank only.
Faculty
faculty : student - 1:35 faculties are friendly and approachable, mostly support students. prof. Pragyan Kaushik, prof. Neha Mishra, prof. Shekhar Yadav are my favourite among faculties. They are experinced and teaching style is good. prof. ajeet pandey, prof. PK Bharti are best one. All the new faculties are good enogh to be liked. Total of 2 exams in a single semester: (for 2024-28 batch and after ) 1 minor - easy-moderate 1 major - moderate Total of 3 exams in sigle semester:( for 2023-27 batch and before) 2 minor - easy 1 major - moderate all exams are relevant and are according to course.
Interview Experience
Admission is purely based on JEE mains rank.No interview is conducted. Online forms are filled and councelling take place in 5 rounds. Spot round is also conducted for the left over seats. Physical reporting is done after that and you get admission.
Night Life
gyms are available for both boys and girls ( seperate ) open all days 5am-12pm and 2pm-8pm. In timings for hostels: boys - no limit(2nd year onwards) girls - 8 pm capmpus IN timings - 10 pm hangout places - CSA ground indoor stadium pmc cafeteria university cafeteria amul cafe civil block park itrc park night life is only for boys and its normal hangout not fansy.
