- Attendance can be a issue sometimes rest it is chill
- Everything depends on the professor, if professor isn't good you will be screwed
- Management is not that good in certain circumstances
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is some what updated to what is required in industry and my branch is aligned with mechanical and management so I get to experience a lot of variety and i think it's industry relevant
Internships Opportunities
As I mentioned earlier the companies come on campus for internship at the starting of 5th semester or 3rd year major companies including Microsoft google come here for tech roles and some also come for non tech so almost 300-400 get internship opportunities
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester you get internship opportunities companies come on campus and good companies are there the only thing is only the upper branches people get interns on campus all other have to go off campus and regarding the placement it starts 7th semester onwards and most of the people get placed even the lower branches have around 50% placement ratio and top branches having more than 80%
Fees and Financial Aid
It is increasing per year 20000 for each year starting from 2.27 lakhs for first year which roughly amounts to 10 lakh for 4 years and 2.5 lakh per year Scholarship benefits are there for reserved ones and the people with power income
Campus Life
You get to experience a whole lot of societies student groups and variety, you can literally get each and everything you wanna experience from tech to core to non tech and the thing is you have seniors which will guide you through and yea the societies play a major role in filling life with colours also we have the biggest cultural fest in north india that's engifest
Admission
Jee mains is the qualifying exam and JAC is the counselling rest I could have got a nit kr some other engineering colleges in Delhi but the exposure and campus I was getting here was unmatched and DTU has got its brand value
Faculty
Faculties are sometimes good and sometimes they can be completely horrible depends and obviously you shouldn't engage yourself with any wrong doings with professors as they can screw your entire semester There are exam two times in a semester once mid sem and lastly end sem
Night Life
Gym is there cafeteria is there and you get one of the biggest libraries during exams everything is open 24×7 else during normal days you have curfew after 11 pm so during exams the campus is full of life during night
