Life in BTKIT

Positive remark is that you will learn how to live life on your own. You are totally dependent on yourself college does not provide that much facilities may be due to less fund or whatever and you have to do on your own.

Course curriculum is good but not enough for competitive exams like GATE Exam structure is same as other engg colleges. Semester wise, two internal and one final semester exam ,assignments are there and also marks for attendance.Practicals are just formalities.

Placement and job opportunities are worst we have to go for pool campus placements in other colleges. No internship is provided by the college we have to go for trainings and internships outside the college.

Scintilla is the main event of our college. It occurs once every year all activities like cultural drawing arts drama also a technical fest which our seniors organise. Every branch have their own fest which includer quizes and many other activities related to the branches.

Total fee is about 1 lakhs per annum that I think is not feasible as I am from a lower middle class family its too expensive for me. Fee is paid semester wise and tution fee for each semester is about 32000 and hostel fee is about 14000.

Scolarship is provider for students who have parental income less than 2lakhs per annum, also for some seats tuition fee waviers they only have to pay nearly 5000 for tution fee. Also for the top 5 rankers of every class. The loan facility is available i don't know much about it.

We have a Multipurpose theatre and one of the best fest that is Scintilla occurs once every year.sports activities are not that good because of less funds or whatever we don't know. No trainer many of us even doesn't know who is our sports incharge. Labs are good but lol they are never used. Many instruments are outdated and the new one's are remains covered.

Hostel infrastructure is for some hostels but in some hostels room are made for only 1 student but 2 students are living there, no space and totally packed. LAN is provided in some hostels in some of the rooms, no wifi, security is there every time.

Alumnies helps a lot because our college does not provide many things like sometimes funds for any events.Many of the alumnies collects funds and helps us in organising those events. We have a good connection with our alumnies Whenever they come to college the tell about the life in industries and manty jobs that we can do in our future.

Its a state government college so admissions are through UKTU councelling. Admission in particular branch is based on yous JEE mains score. College is not ranked good so you can get admission even after a very low score.

Faculties are well educated and have good knowlege about their subjects. Some faculties are very good and do a lot for us but some are like they are only for salary they even don't want to teach. Overall faculties are good and work upon the students.
