Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curricular aspects influenced my selection because, in this course, one gets not only a sound training in fundamental subjects but also practical learning. The concept of laboratory work and projects helps in understanding how theoretical concepts are applied practically in real-life situations. The syllabus is well-structured and supports gradual learning. The syllabus here is built to prepare a student to go for higher studies and also apply theoretically in practical life by improving problem-solving and analytical skills. However, in my view, more industrial exposure and practical training would be advantageous for the students. The internal examination and end semester test are included in the exam. They are quite frequent, and the difficulty level is medium, so it can be handled by regular preparation.

Internships Opportunities

2

So far I am not that aware about anything regarding the internships...but yes all i can say is companies with great value come here for job opportunities and there is good placement I would never say best but yeah good enough

Placement Experience

3

The college sponsors cultural and technical events like the annual fest and the tech fest. Usually, the events are conducted between February and April. The college library has a good number of textbooks and references. Students can easily access the textbooks and references. The college classrooms are well furnished with projectors and internet connectivity. Sports and cultural events are conducted within the college campus. Student forums emphasize the importance of teamwork and leadership skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure I have been paying for my academic year is 3,25,000 which in total will cost me around 13,00,000 for the next four years....and the fees structure varies for cet and comedk Cet(2,20,000) Comedk(3,25,000) There are a lot of people and they and their fees vary from person to person in kle university hubli

Campus Life

2

The college has all the basic facilities such as a gym, cafeteria, library, etc., which remain closed in the evening as per college rules. The library is open during work hours. The time to enter the hostel campus is restricted in order to maintain safety. The common places visited by students in this college campus are the cafeteria, while outside the college, it is the common places that are visited. The place is safe, yet students prefer returning early in the night.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel rooms are equipped with basic facilities such as beds, study tables, chairs, cupboards, fans, lights, and shared washrooms. Meals provided are generally hygienic and nutritious, with a fixed menu offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, though taste and variety can be improved. The hostel registration process is simple and handled through the college administration, and the fees are affordable compared to nearby accommodations. Students staying outside usually rent rooms or PGs in nearby localities, which are easily accessible and considered safe.

Admission

I applied to other colleges a few times and got confirmed admission to some of them. I chose this college because it has the best academic reputation, a well-structured curriculum, established faculty, and a supportive learning environment. Admission to some colleges was not granted due to higher cutoffs and tough competition. The process of admission is quite transparent; it's completely based on eligibility criteria and the scores obtained in entrance examinations. Entrance exams accepted are [CET/JEE], among others, with merit-based cutoffs. Altogether, the admission process was smooth and well-organized.

Faculty

3

The ratio of faculty to students in my college is decent, hence the exchange between students and teachers goes well. Most faculties are friendly, approachable, and ever ready to clear doubts during or after class. Some faculties, like [Faculty Name 1] and [Faculty Name 2], are one of the best, since they explain things clearly, are friendly, and relate concepts to real-life applications. However, some faculties, like [Faculty Name 3], were not that liked due to fast teaching and minimum interaction, which generally made understanding the subject tough. Internal assessments along with the end-semester exams form part of the examination system. The examinations are moderately tough, though, and students find it easy to clear them if they are into a regular study habit. A very few students, however, manage to fail and that too for either preparation issues or the inability to cope with core subjects specifically. The course curriculum is relevant as well as covers essentials, but there is scope for additional practical and industry-oriented content.

Interview Experience

1

No we faced no interviews or any test during the admission As we were taken in by eligibility and enrollment in cet/comedk the students here are mostly from management seat/comedk/cet there is nothing called interview

Night Life

3

The rooms in the hostel have basic facilities such as beds, study tables, chairs, cupboards, fans, lighting, and washrooms. The meals are healthy and clean according to the expectations, though a specific menu is provided including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and some more attention is needed on the taste and flavors. The process involved in getting the rooms is simple and through the college administration itself, and the cost is reasonable when compared to other places around the college. Students residing away from the college have to book rooms in localities around the college, and these places can be reached very easily and are safe to stay in.

S-VYASA Deemed-to-be University School of Advanced Studies Collaborating with NIAT, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
