Course Curriculum Overview

5

Well the course were too comprehensive and as such i would say the course curriculum was quite old and need to be update with requirement of current industry standards. I was really intersted in maths and in solving physics.

Internships Opportunities

5

A lot of Big tech, consulting, finance, logistics companies have appeared in placement season. Some names i am quoting here Microsoft, google, Nvidea, Delhivery, Urban Company, Navi, Adobe and much more

Placement Experience

5

The placement of my college is decent enough. If you are from Tech and circutial branches you can expect package ranging around 12-30lpa, and other than this you can expect somewhere between 8-15lpa for other branches. Overall the placement is quite good.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure was as follows Ist year : 2,29,000 2nd year : 2,36,700 3rd year : 2,46,700 4th year : 2,66,700 Academic year 2019-2020 Tuition fee : 1,47,300 student welfare fee : 20,000 facilities & Services Charges : 36,000 Economically weaker section fund : 10,000 Examination Fee : 15,000 Medical Fee : 15,000 Medical Insurance (Medi-claim) : 700 Total Fee : 2,29,000 Academic Year 2020-2021 Tuition fee : 1,55,000 Student welfare fee : 20,000 facilities & services charges : 36000 Economically weaker section fund : 10,000 Examination fee : 15,000 medical insurance (medi-claim):700 Total fee: 2,36,700 Academic year 2021-2022 Tuition fee : 1,63,000 Student welfare fee : 22,000 Facilities & Services Charges : 36,000 Economically weaker Section Fund : 10,000 Examination Fee : 15,000 Medical InsuRANCE (Medi-Claim): 700 Total Fee : 2,46,700 Academic year 2022-23 Tuition Fee : 1,77,000 Student Welfare Fee : 25,500 Facilities & Services Charges : 38,500 Economically Weaker Section Fund : 10,000 Examination Fee : 15,000 Medical Insurance (Medi-Claim) : 700 Total Fee : 2,66,700 Merit-cum-Means Scholarship I was awarded a Merit-cum-Means Scholarship amounting to a total of 3 lakhs, received during my 2nd and 3rd year of the B.Tech program, which significantly reduced my effective academic cost during those years.

Campus Life

5

I really enjoyed my campus life there. But due to covid i spent most of time studying and attending classes from home, we had a lot annual and technical fests being happening around the year such as engifest, sahitya, etc etc

Admission

cause of best curriculum and ROI, and it was in delhi thats why i choosed this college. i applied to other colleges such as NSIT and some NITs, but i found it better to be in delhi with my parents .

Faculty

5

We had 70 students in our class. Faculties were really cooperative, supportive and had indepth knowledge and wisdom of their department. P.K jain for metal cutting, manufacturing and for thermodynamics, Reeta wattal & S.K garg for industrial, K-DOM, MOS were really good. As such I didnt had any feelings to dislike any faculty. There used to be 2 exams in one semester in a gap of 3 months. >95% students appeared to be passed in all exams.

Night Life

5

Well the nightlife was good too, we have nescafe, maggiebaba and some other canteens inside our colleges, and the demand was really good. well there were no timings for male to enter inside the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
