infrastructure, supportive environment,library resources
i liked the experience in events, interaction with peers
the professors were amazing, their knowledge, expertise and how well they mentored the students

Dislikes

the library needs little updating with few newer books
honestly lack of interactive teaching methods
hostel could be improved for better comfort

Course Curriculum Overview

i would rate the curriculum 7/10 the inclusion of sociology and psychology modules attracted me the curriculum provides a decent foundation for pratical work they should add more practical projects to balance theory with application semester exams are held twice a year they are moderately difficult

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

the total annual fees is 20000 for the second year it remained same and for third year it was around 25000 for the category students the fees are same as mine. For sc/st the fee is reduced by 20% the uni offers merit cum based scholarships for students with 80% and financial need

Campus Life

my campus is vibrant... annual festivals cultural fest... i would say best library sports cricket football basketball, debates and music student groups like social service club boost community engagement

Admission

applied to other colleges. chose KU for its better faculty no rejections online application plus entrance exam cutoff percentile is 90 to 95 .... over all my experience in kashmir uni was smooth........

Faculty

The faculty student ratio was 1:2.3 teachers were approachable and supportive i liked hsc faculties because they focus on practical insights i disliked sociology faculty because they abstract theories with few examples

Night Life

cafeterias and library and public closing off around 9pm favorite spots central garden rooftop, cafe nearby street food market the famous nearby shrine is tourist spot and the nearby cafes are safe to roam around night till 11pm

ABOUT MY COLLEGE

Likes

Teaching is fantastic, fabulous, to engage the whole class teachers ask questions in middle of the lecture.
Transportation is very bad and it is very difficult to reach in the college

Dislikes

Infrastructure need a lot of improvement, there are only tiin boxes in summer they became a heat ball.
There are no placements service and there is no canteen for students
The college is a substitution of dust and smoke. There is very pollution in college area, which can lead to respiratory issues in students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very dumb girl and i had secured 70 percentage in 12. And i got 12 based admission in that college and i had not chosen any curriculum i was obliged to take these subjects. It do not prepares you for real world applications. It should be practical couse which includes how to make money?

My review is very nice

Likes

Faculty is very nice and the way they teaches us is outstanding
I like the campus beauty my college campus is very mesmerizing and maintainance is great
I like the fee structure of my college it is very affordable

Dislikes

I don't like timetables of my college the time table they made for classes is not suitable for us
There is not digitalized classes in our college..only few class rooms have this system
No heating system for winters in classrooms as well as in Libra

I am currently doing my BA Hons in political science. It was my aim to pursue my degree in political science since my childhood.. political science has a very good scope and it is also very interesting subject ...we can exercise politics in day to day life also

Admission:

I short listed in the merit list so i choose BA and the factors for choosing this isntitution.1.this college is very good 2.it has very less admission fee 3.the teachers of this college are very co-operative 3. it has bus facility also 4.it has canteen also

Final result pending of last sem. This year surely I become graduate.

Remarks:

I didn't like to share this because our locality is small. development process is very slow here,we thank for what we have, I am sure that with the passage of time everything goes good,we get more facilities.

Very well , teachers ,staff, building of college all were best in providing a platform in which students can achieve his dream.There was nothing negetive ,they didn't allow any misbehavior and not any type of drugs were allowded in college premises.

Small review from a dedicated person in life.

I didn't apply for other college but i had opportunities while councelling, I might go in other universities like baba ghulam shah baadshah university in my own district rajouri but the reason of rejecting that university because fee was very high there.Otherwise my opinion about that university is also amazing.I didn't get any rejection from any college.
