Course Curriculum Overview

5

This college follows the fe2024 pattern. The course is decent and nice. The exams are low to moderately in terms of difficulty. There is one exam after 1 month of the sem starting and one prelim at the end of the sem and then the university exam which is the end sem

Placement Experience

4

There are placements available and 6th/7th sem students become eligible for it. Highest package offered was around 11 lakh and average is about 4 lakh around 70% to 80% students get placed on basis of the tests conducted by the companies individually

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for open category is around ?119000 during admission and ?5k for placements and training program.there is mahadbt scholarship where fees drop significantly. For some castes the fees drop to 7k to 8k.

Campus Life

5

There are many clubs in the college. There are many festivals. They are held mostly in the second half of the academic year. There is a huge ground on which football can played. There are also two other grounds where other sports such as cricket or volleyball can be played . The events are also great. There was a spring festival last year which was very fun

Admission

I chose this college because it is well known and decent . I didn't make it to other colleges because of the higher cut off required, i would this is the best college in this cut off range. One can take admission by giving the mhtcet exam after 12th the cut off is approximately 87%ile and the admission process is smooth no need to worry and if u forget any document you can get it from the Xerox shop nearby

Faculty

5

The faculties are nice and friendly, they are very helpful and enough teachers are available there is one internal exam , one prelim before end sem and one university exam all of which are conducted in one sem. The teachers are approachable and there is a doubt session of one hour everyday and even in breaks we can ask doubts to the teachers

Night Life

4

There is a pond near the college which is very calm and pleasant. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants outside the college and even inside. There's a huge walkway in the college and students often walk there after college. the locality is nice to roam around at night but there's traffic and sound of horns

Placement Experience:

PICT is known for its placement record, so talking about it more. In the academic year AY 2023-24, even though a massive recession hit the IT industry, PICT students held off and held off quite well. 706 people out of 760 enrolled got placed into a company which makes 92.89% placement. Rest were placed off-campus. The average package CTC was 13.01LPA while the median package CTC was 10.11 LPA. Around 110 companies visited the campus. The hghest package was CTC 47.28 LPA provided by Adobe for Software Engineer role. I am planning on getting placed in a multinational company with a good pay package or do higher studies in physics.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for placements from the 6th semester, but they have to complete the whole 8 semester to start working. Companies like L&T, HCC, J Kumar, TATA Projects are our major recruiters, many MNCs and other top company like to hire from NICMAR. The college has genuine 100% placement, the students who generally do not get placed are ones who have family business or startups. After completing the degree and mostly interested in a job for the 1 to 2 years to gain some experience. Then I may consider options like higher studies or a business.
