Remarks

Faculties are excellent I have a perception that faculties are like virus (from 3 idiots) types, but now my definition is completely changed.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good and as per the need of today's needs of the industry we just need to attend the classes regularly. The exams take place thrice in a semester as follows: midterms, end terms and university examinations along with it there is marking of attendance, assignments, and activities.

Placement Experience

I have not availed of any internship or placement as I'm a 1st-year student but as per my seniors saying they are good at placements. They provide good placements and the highest placements for 2019 were 17 lac p.a. (MBA).

College Events

The manifest is the major highlight of the doon business school which means "management festival" there are many events which are going to take place in the campus and many other colleges from different parts of the country to participate in it there are cash prizes awarded to the winners and much more other than this there is a weekly activity scheduled on every Thursday named "Thursday activity" held on regular basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per my courses (masters in applied management), the fees are 60000-80000/- per semester which and there are some other charges also, in the end, you have to pay about 70000-95000/-(maximum) for a semester and the admission fees of 25000/- are excluded.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for any loan because the fees are quite reasonable and compared to very low if you are going to compare it with what they are offering to you.

Campus Life

The campus is quite good and modern as shown on the website you are going to enjoy when you are here, the is not so big like LPU but you are not going to feel it in the campus. The gender ratio is about equal in the college till now I've not seen any gender discrimination in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

I've opted for a 4 seater room which is available for 80000/- approx. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls and these are quite good some of my friends are living in PG's there is a plus point of the hostel over these PG's we have a separate play area which is missing in the PG's.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

They are very helpful, as they guide me on how to prepare assignments and guide us to survive in hostel life because hostel life is a challenge in itself we all know that because there is no place better than home.

Admission

First of all, you need to fill the admission form available on the website of the college thereafter the interview is scheduled you have a choice in it you can go for a skype interview or you can go for a physical interview thereafter receive a mail of your admission confirmation.

Faculty

They are the best part of our college according to me anything can be tolerated but this is not. They are so supportive, encouraging and motivating they help us in all the situations whether it is a small issue or big issue they are always with us to help us.

A Great Learning Experience with Good Industry Exposure

Likes

The college provides a vibrant campus environment with regular events, fests, club activities and opportunities to participate in different extracurricular activities. The overall campus atmosphere is energenic and provides good opportunities to stud
The faculty members are supportive and approchable and the college provides opportunities for students to develop various skills.
I appreciate the infrastructure and learning facilities available on campus, along with peaceful environment of Dehradun.

Dislikes

The placement process could be made more transparent by providing students with more regular information about placement opportunities.
There is scope for increasing practical and industrial oriented exposure through more guest lectures and interactions with industry professionals.
Coordination and communication regarding some academic and extracurricular activities could be improved so that students recieve information well in advance and can plan their participation accordingly.

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placement opportunities with students becoming eligible in the final year. Various companies visit the campus for roles in marketing, sales, management and other business related profiles. The placement cell also supports students through placements drives and career guuidance. Along with campus placements internships and industry exposure help students improve their employability. After completing my BBA, I plan to persue a career in digital marketing and gain practical industry experience.

Campus and student Life , There are many Domain , activity , Hobby Clubs that gives opportunity to participate beyond academics
the Faculty members are supportive, experienced and approachable , practical learning and presentations make classroom more engaging
The university provides good opportunity for extra curricular , industry exposure and internships

Dislikes

we have small campus but it is actually good and really pretty
There are no clubs for Cricket playing Students

Placement Experience:

Social internship starts from the 1st year followed by a summer internship in 2nd year. Placements offer up to 40L LPA, with an average of 8.7L LPA and 13.5L LPA for the top 20% with good exposure and more.

Likes

The very first thing liked about my college is its location . Dehradun is in itself a very peacefull place. Second thing is campus , the campus contains all types of sports activities .
The professors of the college are phd holders and have real industrial experience , which helps me to connect to real world experience with theoritical lectures.
There is no discrimination in the campus , no matter from which state do you belong , you will feel comfortable in the campus.

Dislikes

The most disliked thing is the unpredictable weather of Dehradun.

Placement Experience:

The placements of university are very good because there is a career development cell present in the campus, which helps every student for getting placed. There are 350+ recruiters which visits our campus for recruitment. Recruiters like Tech Mahindra , HCL Tech , ICICI , Wipro , Asian Paints , Deloitte , ITC , Unilever , Infosys , etc. comes for recruitment every year . Recruiters comes from sectors like FMCG , Banking , Tech , Consulting , e-commerce , etc. Approx 98% students get placed and they are trying to increase this percentage. Highest package touched is impressive which is 40 Lpa , average package is 8.7 Lpa , about average top 20% offers was of 13.5Lpa. My plans after getting degree is to get placed with valuable package and after sometimes I want to start my own business.

The cafeteria is now wide and also breathable as they worked on infra
There faculties are knowledgable and also cooperative
The functions here make students involve to showcase their hobbies on stage

Dislikes

The washroom area should be more good and hygiene
The placement journey is little tough for us and m
The warden behavior sometimes very rude towards students of hostel

Underrated College but it's one of the best college for management.

Likes

Faculties experience and how supportive they are
Overall crowd of DBS Global University Dehradun is good
The events are actively happening and with 22 clubs events gets never stopped

Dislikes

Dress code is what I didn't expect to be in the college
Small campus area will be the negative point

Course Curriculum Overview:

As curriculum in this university in all the courses offers dual specilization which is very beneficial for the students. I have choosed marketing and digital marketing as my specilization and super specilization. I have chosen digital marketing as because of current trend in marketing and also I have interest in this field. This curriculum really prepares me for the real-world application for the further academic pursuits as I am doing internships what I have learnt in the lecture is really helping me for doing practical work. I can't suggest what should be right or wrong what I know is the course curriculum and teaching methods are decided by the various industry experts, IIM experts and also the courses are up to dated to I dont think they need any change.

The location I think it's in not in good location far from main city.

As I am a bba student and I have 3 year of course duration so students starts doing internship from 2nd year and. Placements aree provided from 3 year. By college The highest page goes of 12 lpa in bba and average goes of 5lpa . Approx 80% students get placed .I am planning to do my masters afterwards. Major companies like Amazon and many more visits to our college

Affordable college in Dehradun

Likes

College fee is affordable and can afford anybody
Projector e quipped classes . Teacher connect their laptop with it
The Campus is so big and lush green and nature friendly

Dislikes

Washrooms are so unhygienic and bad and smell bad
Poor wifi network in college and for only hostel students.
Some faculties are poor at teaching and bad behavior

Placement Experience:

Placement are not sure i am beacuse i am in second year i think the students who maintain attendence and good cgpa can sit ik placement companies also students have to do internship before placement drives

The infrastructure of the university is well built as it is surrounded with greenery on every corner. There is a common area built for the students to converse, discuss and spend time with each other freely.
The faculties of this University are extremely experienced and knowledgeable. They have an exemplary understanding of the course they teach and also ensure that each student understands the subject well.
The university ensures that the student gains practical knowledge of the subject being taught through their weekly if not regular activities being conducted and seminars hosted.

Dislikes

As compared to other campuses, DBS is a bit smaller however that doesnt reduce the quality it provides

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

The asthethics of collge, few faculties are genuinely nice and hardworking.

Dislikes

They are more revenue oriented rather than student's career , they can do anything to get money out of you. They post fines on your ERP ID without any prior knowledge or information. They ask for money for everything such 5000 caution money is mandat
They dont listen to the student they dont respect student's life or student itself. If you give them money then only they will listen to you otherwise they will treat you like a trash. They dont respect student's feelings or student's mental health..

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite low, there are no great companies are coming the packages are also quite low like for bba its 3-4 lac p.a For mba its 6-7 lac p.a. Not very good companies are coming for recruitment especially finance companies.

I got in Ram lal Anand College of Delhi University but i personally feel that there are limited amount of resources in Govt. The reason for choosing this college is that it provides every facilities , specialisations and location of the college are excellent with an affordable price, all the money worths here. I have applied to UPES as well but after I saw it's fees I opted out myself, it was not because I couldn't afford it but the curriculum there was not good at all and their placements are not satisfactory considering the fees they are charging.
