- The infrastructure and the buildings are good.
- The societies and exposure is good. The societies get good amount of money when needed
- Good campus life. Nightlife is also good, safe environment and no ragging or bullying
Dislikes
- Too expensive. The fees is pretty high and has been rising
- The management is lazy. The results gets out very late, atleast 6 months.
- The professors are rude and the management officials are even more.
Course Curriculum Overview
The newer curriculum is specialised for AI and ML, and other newer requirements. However the overall quality can be improved. Some subjects are redundant, however overall the college is moving ahead with the trends
Fees and Financial Aid
The structure is not constant. The year i started, the fee was 1.9 lakhs. By 4th year, it was 2.4lakhs. it's getting expensive every year. So it was 1.9 lakhs, 2.1 lakhs, 2.3lakhs and 2.4 lakhs. The hostel fee has also being climbing. Depending on the CGPA and, and the category, the scholarship can get to 45-50%, provided the cgpa is more than 7.5
Campus Life
There are multiple huge fests happening throughout the year, the biggest of them being Engii fest. The library is huge, 3 floors and almost every subject's books are available. The sports ground is huge, and they have multiple courts for multiple games. It has a gym, well maintained equipments. The societies get ample money and exposure, provided they are productive.
Admission
I applied for this university, and luckily got it. I joined because it had a very good legacy of good package, research and overall Good campus life. It's accessible after qualifying JEE mains and getting a required rank.
Faculty
There's atleast 60-75 seating area in a class, for one professor. Most of the old faculty is rude. They live in their own world, don't understand the situation and many of them create problems and are very egoistic. The newer faculty is comparatively relaxed, and does create a scene on attendances. As for the exams, the datesheet is declared at the start of the semester. The exams are moderate, if prepared before hand, most questions are from Pyq's and assignments, which are easily available.
Night Life
The nightlife is good for boys. Girls are not allowed out after 10 pm, no curfew on boys. The campus is huge with around 160 acres. However not many cafes or shops open over night. The ground stays open, but courts and gyms don't open
