Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum offered at IMDR is very good and well gels with real world applications. Practical approach and thinking is involved in every aspect of the curriculum.. overall the curriculum is related to management studies and provides good foundation for students for their corporate growth
Internships Opportunities
It's just 2 months joining the college. I am not into the process of internships As I am currently pursuing my PGDM, I have not completed my internship yet, so I cannot personally comment on the internship experience or stipend at this stage.
Placement Experience
Since, I am currently pursuing my PGDM I have not yet experienced the placements offers by the college. However college gives better career opportunities to start with by offering good placements with minimum package for 600000
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure for IMDR is Rs600000 It amounts to Rs 300000 for each year. As per my batch the fees are not increased There are no relaxations in fee structure for category students. Fees of 6 lacs is same for all the students
Campus Life
There are various events at the college like sanskriti and kshitij which give opportunity for students to showcase their talents like singing, dancing, acting,drama etc Various other competitions are also conducted for students for extra curricular
Admission
I chose IMDR for my PGDM journey because I thought it was a good fit for me. IMDR stood out to me because of curriculum academic environment , experienced faculty and practical learning approach. I would recommend it any management aspirants out there
Faculty
Faculty and students relationship is very good at IMDR. Teachers are approachable and friendly. Regular assignments are given for valuation. Assignments are theoretical but contains practical thinking and approach.This helps students to think deeply into the topic or subject which inturn makes their concepts concrete.
Interview Experience
Yes, I had to appear for a personal interview as part of the admission process at IMDR. I did not have a Group Discussion or a separate written test. The interview was quite comfortable and conversational. I was asked about my background, why I was interested in the college and management education, along with questions to understand my skills and personality. I was also given a situation-based question where I had to explain how I handled a real-life situation.
Night Life
There are cafés, restaurants, malls and other places where students can spend time with friends after college. However, the campus itself does not have much of a nightlife scene, and most social activities happen outside the campus. Overall, Pune offers a good balance of student-friendly places and evening entertainment.
