Course Curriculum Overview
The curricular keeps on updating. As it should be to be relevant to the industry. Though more activities can be engaging and should be presented as learning oppertunites rather just course content. There are 2 exams that conducted per semester. One is mid term and the other is final term. Accounding to the course there can be lab exams also.
Internships Opportunities
JP Morgan, HSBC bacnk. Our college has tie up with other certification provider. That prepair us for various certificates like Slaseforce, AWS, Power BI. The same companies also provide a internship for course we have selected.
Placement Experience
Placement vary according to the market in the industry. Though oppertunities are provided extending student courses, so students do get a change to apply multiple job postings. Companies like Flipkart, Blackstone came.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees: 1 Lakh Tution Fees: 60 K Hostel Fee: 40 K Caution Fee: 5 K Bus Fee: 10 K (not paid due to Hostler) Placement Course Fee: 10 - 12 K There multiple slabs for tution fees. Mine was salb 1. Lower the slab higher the fees.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. There strict rules regarding hostel timing, hostel noise, lights in the room. The same is enforced my gaurds on each floor. There is attendance marked every day for hostel after gates are closed.
Hostel Facilities
There are rooms depening on the number if people in the room. There rooms from 1 single bedded to 8 bedded. There is facilities of AC/No-AC. There are also premium rooms, which are near the academic building. There are tables light for each person in the room
Admission
I also applied to Jaypee, Manipal, KIIT. I chose this college because VIT placement cell, location and fees. I had VITEEE exam, and I also used my JEE score card and 12th grade and 10th grade marksheet for admission.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1/60. There are huge batches. The relationship is good, they expect maturity from student side which is understandable. I have worked with Dr. Lakshmi, Dr. Balaji A. I have written papers with them.
Night Life
There is no night life as college has strict rules on college timing and hostel timings. College gates entry closes by 6:30 and hostel which is in the campus closes by 8:30 PM. We do have gym which closes at 7:30.
