Course Curriculum Overview
Honestly, the curriculum is quite good and covers the main subjects needed for B.Pharm. I chose this course because it gives a good mix of pharmaceutical theory and practical knowledge. The practical classes help in understanding the concepts better and the course provides a useful foundation for further studies and future jobs in the pharmaceutical field.
Internships Opportunities
I have not completed an internship yet, as I am currently pursuing my B.Pharm course. DPSRU provides students with opportunities to gain practical exposure through training, projects and industry-related activities. I plan to take up an internship in the pharmaceutical industry, hospital pharmacy, quality control or research during the later part of my course. I believe these opportunities will help me understand the practical application of what we learn in class and develop skills that will be useful for my future career.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for ST category is 26000 ruppess for all the odd semesters and 4000 ruppess for all the even semesters. We have total of 4 years of course so total of 8 semesters, 120000 ruppess is the fees for ST for the complete course
Campus Life
Here’s a more natural, student-like version you can paste: > My overall campus experience at DPSRU has been good so far. The campus has a friendly environment and it is easy to interact with classmates and take part in different activities. There are various extracurricular opportunities through student clubs and events. The university also has facilities for sports such as cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton and indoor games. The library is one of the useful facilities on campus, especially for pharmacy students. It has a large collection of pharmacy-related books and journals, along with digital resources and access to online databases. Classrooms and academic facilities are adequate for regular studies and practical learning. The university also conducts an annual sports meet and different cultural, awareness and academic events during the year. There are also student groups such as NSS and Rotaract, along with cultural and creative activities. Overall, campus life is a good balance of academics, social interaction and extracurricular activities, although I feel that more regular student events and activities could make campus life even more engaging.
Admission
I chose DPSRU for B.Pharm because it is a university focused on pharmaceutical and healthcare education, and the course matched my career interests better than the other options I considered. I had also considered Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College for B.Sc. Physical Science, but I preferred B.Pharm at DPSRU because it is more directly related to the pharmaceutical field and provides practical as well as theoretical learning. The admission process was through counselling and seat allotment. After checking my eligibility and documents, I attended the counselling process and was allotted a seat in B.Pharm. The process was fairly straightforward, although document verification and completing the admission formalities took some time. Overall, I chose DPSRU because the course was more relevant to my interests and offered a clear path towards a career in pharmacy.
Faculty
The faculty to student relationship is good and they are highly approachable, the best faculty is of general pharmacy, there isn't a single faculty which i don't like, there are 3 sessionals in one semester from which only the best of two gets counted , and one final exam at the end of semester, the exam is easy, very less students fails exams
Night Life
> Nightlife around DPSRU is relatively quiet compared to colleges in central Delhi. Students usually spend their evenings with friends, at nearby cafes or food places, or simply relaxing after classes. The gym, library and other campus facilities have fixed closing timings, so most activities are during the day or early evening. The campus becomes quieter at night, especially for hostel students who have to follow hostel timings. Popular nearby areas like Lajpat Nagar, Kalkaji and Nehru Place can be visited for food and shopping, depending on the time and transport available. Overall, the area is generally fine for students, but it is better to avoid roaming alone late at night and travel in groups.
