Likes
- The things I liked about the college are the faculty and the professors. They are very cooperative and helpful.
- The campus life is quite beautiful here, campus is very close to nature and you can get fresh air. Also the infrastructure is on the top they have all the facilities which are required.
- There is an active placement cell in the campus which usually provide in campus placement to students according to their concerned departments.
Dislikes
- Some of the things which i think should need to be improved are the classrooms and canteens.
- Also I think there is need of improvement in placement cells fir humanities students.
- For library I would also say there needs an improvement because they have less capacity in comparison with number of students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is very relevant. I took admission in pg diploma in guidance and counselling which is a one year diploma course. I was inspired to do this course specially because it can provide you placement for sure. After this you can apply as a counsellor in any academic setting or NGOs.The teaching method of professors is quite good. They almost cover the entire syllabus before exams
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for this course is divided semesterwise. In the first semester we have to pay 3600 and in the second semester rest of the payment of 2400 is taken. All the required fees i.e. tuition fee and lab fee etc. are included in this amount. And the fee structure is same for students of all the categories. Although fees is quite affordable for everyone, students who want to can apply for state scholarship program, college does not have any specific scholarship for this program.
Campus Life
My overall experience in the campus is satisfactory. In the campus there are several fests and programs are being conducted like kashiyatra, spandan and other fests too. Talking about library, you can almost find all the required books here from oldest to latest. Also the campus provides wide range of sports and extracurricular activities such as chess, basketball, volleyball, and other activities.
Admission
I did apply for sone other private colleges too but the fees was quite high. Here it is very affordable and worth pursuing the course. The admission process for this course was based on the interview. You have to apply on their portal and then the department will send you a call letter for the interview and also the weightage of your postgraduation cgpa would be taken for making merit list for admission in this course. Cutoff will be based on your specific category.
Faculty
Faculty is very cooperative and helpful. They help students in each possible way. Although for paperworks it is quite complicated but overall they are very supportive. For the exams, they do have exams on the basis of semester and before semester exams there are internal exams of 20 marks. The faculty of social science is very good.
Night Life
The best cafeteria in BHU is IIT cafeteria. They have a wide and affordable range of foods available. Also they maintain hygience and cleanliness. Although night life is not safe for girls in the campus but you can explore it in daytime and it is very peaceful and fresh. But I would not recommend to roam late in night in campus if you are a girl.
