Review for BA english

I didn't go for other colleges as this is near to my home and have good reputation also with greater ranking. The fees is manageable.Other colleges are very far and I don't want to go away from my parents too.Amity provide all the facilities like library, well educated faculties, and modern infrastructure.There are so many activities along like military training camp, additional foreign languages that other colleges don't.

The fact that the curriculum is so diverse (encompassing not just English literature, but also courses such as Twentieth Century Indian English Literature) is what appealed it to me. The exam frequency is adequate and the timing could use some improvement. The end of the semester usually gets cluttered with assignment submissions and presentations, so much so that exam preparation can become difficult.

For English we have so many roles and field we can go for like Content Creator, publishing, editing, teaching , journalism in any one of the field.You can also go for higher studies clear UGC NET and became assistant professor. The amity provided paid and unpaid internships for the students who are in last semester.

If you are 3 year students, then placement is in 6 th semester. For English students can go for editing, teaching and Higher studies. The average package was approx 3 lakhs yearly and highest 6 lakh .The profile was content developer, blogger in planet spark , Schools etc. My plan is to do MA English then PhD for professor role.

The course fees for BA english hons is approx 4 lakhs rs for years including bus, food and other charges. During admission Rs 15 k is charged for security that is refundable after 4 year of the program.The fees may vary yearly 4-5 % only. There is no additional charges during the 4 years.

We have an annual festival called Amifest, usually in the spring, where all the departments hold games and competition for the students. The library provides us with numerous books and, journals are accessible through the e-library. All classrooms are LED panelled and equipped with Wi-Fi.

Class contains around 35 students that is easily managed by single teacher. For different subjects there are different faculties specialists. Every semester there is around 6 subjects, the level of exams was moderate. The students who actually studies pass the exam still 5 -7 students because of attendance was debarded. Faculty members I like include Dr Kanu Priya, my course mentor and a professor who has always been helpful even outside the classroom, Dr Alka, whom I can engage in deep discussions with.

The admission process on Amity haryana was directly based on merit list of class 12, above 50% . There's is no GD and interview for Ba students but for MA personal interview process will be there for admission based on BA English. After they got selected they have to make payment and booked the seat.

The campus has a gym, multiple mess halls and cafeterias, a central library, and since it's so close to Gurgaon, there are many famous hangouts nearby. The hostel is equipped with all required necessities and proper medical care. Campus timing is 9:30am to 4:45pm.
