Remarks
Yes, I would remark this college as a positive one. It brings opportunities to the students but it depends on the students if they grab it or not. Good placements, good at extra curricular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
It covers the areas of leadership, management. Final exam is of 60 marks i.e external.And there are internal marks also which is of 40 marks. Internal includes your assignments,mst marks, presentations, attendance etc.
Placement Experience
Regarding placement I would say that it is best for those students who are able to grab it. Chandigarh University is best in terms of placements. It will give you opportunity but it's up to a student capability to grab it. Yes, it provides stipend based internships.
College Events
There are various events happening in Chandigarh University. Every week there is something happening inside the campus which benifits the student to showcase their skills. Many big stars also come here in promotion of their films,songs etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure seems to be expensive if one comes from a middle background. Here the fee structure is increasing very fast. For example- fee structure for BBA in 2017-18 was around Rs32,500 And in 2018-19, it was Rs 42,500
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a exam named CUSAT in which if you scored in top 1%, then you can get 100%scholarship. i.e your tuition fees will be free. There is no loan facility in Chandigarh University.i didn't availed any of the scholarship.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are there in Chandigarh University. In sports, drama, singing, dancing all these fields one can build more skills in Chandigarh University and it will be beneficial in future also.
Hostel Facilities
In first year I have opted for hostel because at start you don't know about the place if you came from outside area. I would say infrastructure is good, facilities are also good but there is issue regarding food. Food has been always a issue in hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
Chandigarh University has a connection with its alumina. Chandigarh University enhances our skill. Senior students may or may not be helpful. I don't have any type of connection with the seniors.
Admission
I have heared the name of the university from some of my friends and I searched about it on Google also. Admission criteria is so simple. You have to get yourself registered under the course you want to and pay the fees and other formalities such as documents submission.
Faculty
Faculty of this college is ok. You can't say very good. It all depends on one's character, behaviour, beliefs. Some of the teachers are encouraging while some don't pay that much attention towards your work.
