The faculty to student ratio is 1:12. The relationship between the teacher and the student is quite good. If difficulty is faced the faculty members are approachable anytime. There are basically two internal exams witha gap of 1 month in between each for 40 marks to test our vivid knowledge on the topics taught inside the classroom. The subjects are quite relevant to the course curriculum and most importantly the exams are totally based on the Bangalore University curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.

see New branches like Aiml AI have good faculties they are new they understand a student mindset so they are lenient and talk like our friends but some branches like CSE CS IT have old teachers which frustrates all students.I like AIML faculty bcoz they understand each and every student and most of them are from NITs.I dont like IT CSE faculty.there are 2 mid sem and One end sem in a semester . Mostly students clear the exam 5 to 10 percent fails. Now new course has been introduced which includes many new things.

Basically in Bcom (p) there is no rigid marking but its 90 marks theory paper and 70 marks practical paper in order to clear the subject you have to pass in both theory and oractical separately Otherwise ER can be resulted in your score card Faculty is nice while giving internal marks if have decent attendance and known presence under that teachers eye

Course Curriculum Overview

Honestly Bcom(p) in real life stands no value you have to brush up your slills in AI finance skills and other related filed skills to get a decent job or to even enter in the job market Starting first year its a lot of competition amonsgt the students some doing internships already some doing projects so you might feel left out

Fees and Financial Aid

As I come under OBC category i didn't receive any kind of scholarship and I currently completed ( Bcom Accounting and Finance) were my minimum fees structure is 57,000 per year but 6 months once I have to pay installment 1 and installment 2.where installment 1 is 32000 where as installment 2 is 25000.

Faculty

In our college we have a maximum 1,00,000 pursuing bachelor's degree. Compare to other college our college fees structure was bit low but now the course fees structure has been increased that's the only matter. There are 6 exams and the questions was easy. And some times it will be quite tough.

Course Curriculum Overview

I don't know about other courses but I know about my course. I am currently doing B.Tech CSE AI ML course but one has to work hard on one's own, otherwise everything is good. But one good thing is that the library is open all day so we can study there.

Faculty

The overall Faculty members are good and experienced, although there are some new recruits as well. In BA courses the faculty to student ratio is somewere around 35 to 1.Most of the faculty are very Approchable and Friendly except a few who maintain Distance from Students and limit themselves to class only. In History Department, teacher Like Dr. Monica Saxena , Dr. Ranjana Das are very experienced and have a very good style of Teaching. Dr. Uma Shankar is another teacher who is an expert in his field and is friendly. Talking about exams there is 1 sem end university exam and there are internal exams which is conducted by the teachers only. The Internal Assessment includes Presentations , Group Discussion, Class test etc Most of the students clear the exam without any difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview

The History Hons course is one of the most demanded course among the students, especially those who want to pursue civil services and higher education in their life. The Curriculum is designed in such a way that we get to know about our past and also how to use our ancient knowledge in the present times. Although There is always a scope for improvement , the course structure can be restructed in a new modern way and new publications can be added to the readings. However, the present faculty uses various teaching methods including Documentary Screening, Presentations and Seminars. The Course covers various perspectives of History and is of moderate level difficulty if basics are not clear. The university exam is mostly based on PYQs which makes it easier to pass the course

Course Curriculum Overview

1: Curriculum ( BBA-MBA Integrated course ) : a) It is a five year programme. You get both UG and PG degree in one stretch b) It is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to GGSIPU c) It provides dual specialization : MBA portion can include speclizations in HR , Marketing , Finance etc 2: Aspects that influenced me to choose this course : a) Saving a year : It is better than doing 3 years BBA and separate 2 year MBA , this integrated course is more streamlined b) No need for MBA entrance exam : Once you enroll in this course, you need not to give separate test for MBA , that a biggest plus 3. Real-world applications : a) Dual specialization helps you to join specific field b) The curriculum includes workshops , seminars , etc that helps to see how business works in practice. It is not purely textbook 4 : About exams : a) Internal assessments which contribute to your 40% of your exams include attendace , presentations , class tests etc b) Diffficulty level is moderate. If you attend lectures regularly , take down notes , there is no such difficulty.

Faculty

1: Faculty student ratio and relationship : a) Class sizes are 30-50 students for many courses , but usually 30-40 are present regularly b) All the faculties are approchable. They are helpful , kind and also gives extra guidance to students. 2: Faculties that I liked : a) Dr. Dipti Jain : Reason I liked her is that her polite , supportive nature and her way of teaching. b) Ms. Bhawna Gambhir : She gets praise for being sweet and very helpful. 3: Courses and Semesters : a) The programs are divided into semesters. For example : Integrated programs have 10 semesters. b) Marks are given on the basis of your perfromance in class tests , presentations , attendance and minor exams. For many courses, passing marks are around 40% c) Number of exams depend on in which semester you are and what course you are pursuing. Exams are not that difficult, they are easy to moderate. If you are attending classes regularly , making notes on what is being done in class you can easily pass them. Students who fail to do these fail in minor exams.

Faculty

Most of my department's faculty members are quite approachable and learned. They have great background and experience. Most of them always ensures that the doubts are being cleared and are always fair in marking for internals. From the faculty that i have learnt from, Prof. Sonia Goel is a very good teacher, she is very dedicated about what she teaches, she loves the subject and ensures that her students understand the concepts well. The examination has two parts internal and external examination. Internal examination includes attendance, class tests, vivas etc. And external examination is the written exam. The distribution is 70+90, internal and external respectively. Regular studying ensures decent result though it is also important to note that economics is on the tougher part and required great concept understanding and practice.

Campus Life

The campus life at Ramjas is decent. When you enter the college, that time is quite vibrant due to Elections. And after that during the months of February to April, there are fests happening left to right from smaller club fests to the College's Annual Fest, Mosaic. The classes in the new building are quite spacious to accommodate large batch sizes. There are many sports offered with multiple dedicated grounds such as Football, Basket ball, Volley ball, badminton, table tennis, Shooting etc. The student-run clubs and societies are quite in number here and are very active and competitive as well, which helps student improve and learn.

My college hosts 3 main fests - VITOPIA CULTURAL , VITOPIA SPORTS and V-TAPP the tech fest . VITOPIA SPORTS generally takes place between 18th Feb to 26th Feb every year (dates may vary ) , VITOPIA CULTURAL takes place 2nd March to 5th March every year and V-TAPP takes place during the end of year (dates change according to the students exam) . Our college also hosts various competitions like interdepartment sports competition for football , basketball , volleyball , cricket and batminton , inter-hostel sports competition for both solo and group games , THE TUG OF WAR CHALLENGE , VITOPIA FEST DRESS CHALLENGE , Dance/Music competitions , Comedy war and many more . Our library is accessible from morning 8 am till afternoon 5 pm everyday . It consists of all genre books including fictional , non-fictional , sci-fi , history , mathematics , IT and all types of books related to different courses for students and professors . There is a time limit of certain number of days a student can issue a book otherwise they have to pay the fine and it increases per day . All the classrooms are provided with seating arrangement of 80 students per class , a whiteboard , some classes have digital board as well . Only the Computer lab rooms and Physics lab rooms have AC provided , the chemistry lab room also have all equipments provided and able to use under supervision only . The sports and extracurricular activities are great in our campus . The students are always enthusiatic about playing game under coach or every evenings in thr grounds . We have every sports teams that is sent every year to participate in different colleges . Our college allows 4 excursions for sports every year . We have many clubs both technical and non technical leaded by professors and run by the students . Many clubs collaborate to do various events during the fresher joinings which us the end of year .

Faculty

The faulty to student ratio is vast and drastically different . Our campus might have student strength to be 10000 to 12000 whereas professors can be about 200-400 only . The faculty and student relationship is variable , it all depends on various situations , most of the professors like those students who are regular to class in attendance and prefer to probably give them grace marks when asked or pleaded during result checking . The notorious students who do not attend class and have low attendance , either they study really hard to get good marks or fail in those exams and plead to professors to help them out . I liked 1 professor , his name was Mr. Samuel . He used to teach Design thinking . He was super friendly and approachable , i loved the way he taught the textbook words in his own way and gave projects to do instead of quiz which was more fun according to me . I do not remember the names of the faculties whom i did not like but most of them were very rude , they use to set tough paper for exams , they had a mass fail ratio in their names from different batches . We have 2 semesters a year , each semester has 3 exams - CAT1 ,CAT 2 and FAT . In between these , the professors conduct 3 quizzes and 3 assignments for the theory courses and about 6-10 assignments in the lab courses depending on different professors . Every semester , there are many students who fail several courses some courses being like ADD , CALCULUS , DLD etc . We can either take them in next semester or take them during holiday semesters which last a month only consisting of only FAT exam .

Campus Life

- I only spent my first trimester here but till now we have had four to five events which included mixers freshers parties then we went told that there are programs and events which go week long called UNIV WEEK. Also there are several inter college competition like Jalsa a dance competition and many others. - Library of NLS is one of the best features of the university it has one of the biggest library of the country as well as the accessibility to book is limitless you as a law student would find every possible work you might need here. - The classroom here are also smart we will find both a white board and screens over there classrooms are designed in a form to get at least 100 to 150 students students seated in one place the ambience the furniture the infrastructure everything is impeccable. -There are several committees and collectives present in NLS which you can join once you get in you will find the committees and collective have their own independence as they are allotted a budget and then they can work through it throughout the year.

Faculty

- the faculty to student ratio is quite got there are more professors then the students actually specially for BA honours group and teachers are extremely approachable they are very understanding and their help a student develop their Idea and understanding of the subject very well. - all the faculties were pretty approachable and great but for first trimester at least a professor of narrative that was Ammel Sharon and professor of my major that is Chandrabhan Yadav for history were pretty good, they both were the most easy to understand and always ready to compromise for us to understand and get a better understanding of the subject. - There were no such faculties - exams are constant here, you get into the campus and two weeks into it you have to give your first midterm or that's what happened at least for us. This is a constant for NLS students.

Course Curriculum Overview

One of the main reasons I chose this course was the curriculum design, which included subjects that were both foundational and industry-relevant. Topics that gave me confidence that the program would not just focus on theory but also touch practical aspects needed in the professional world. In terms of preparation for real-world applications, the curriculum does a fair job. Many assignments and projects are structured to encourage independent research, teamwork, and presentation skills, which are crucial for both job roles and higher studies. However, the curriculum could benefit from more hands-on training, industry visits, or workshops that bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical exposure. The teaching methods are generally effective, but sometimes they rely too heavily on traditional lectures. Adding case studies, live projects, or interactive sessions would make learning more engaging and relevant. Also, integrating the latest tools and technologies in the syllabus would help students stay updated with industry demands. Exams are usually held twice in a semester as internals, followed by final exams. The frequency feels appropriate, though the difficulty level ranges from moderate to slightly challenging. With proper preparation, most students can clear them without much stress.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio in our college is fairly good, which allows teachers to give personal attention when required. Most of the faculties are approachable and willing to clarify doubts, both inside and outside the classroom. They maintain a professional yet friendly relationship with students, which makes learning smoother and less stressful. Among the faculties. Their teaching style is clear, interactive, and they often use real-life examples that make difficult topics easy to understand. They are supportive and encourage students to participate in discussions, which boosts confidence. These teachers are definitely among the best in the college On, orher hand there are few faculties like whose lectures feel rushed or less engaging. Sometimes, they do not provide enough clarity, which makes it harder for students to follow. However, this is more about teaching style than knowledge, as all faculties are well-qualified. Examinations are conducted systematically, usually two internals per semester along with the final exams. The difficulty level is moderate—neither too easy nor overly tough. Only a small percentage of students fail, mostly due to lack of preparation. Overall, the course curriculum is relevant and keeps pace with industry needs.
