I was given University accomodation Called Ascham Court, which was a nice, comfortable accomodation near the main campus along the meadows. It had better privacy that flat like accomodations.
Total yearly rent was 9350 for a year of stay. I do know there are plenty of private accommodations around the city as well.

Accommodation was good- close to the uni but expensive. My rental was £650 per month in 2019. Things might have changed/updated now.

Professors are people who are at the top of their fields. Their knowledge is exceptional and we get to learn a lot.
The infrastructure is amazing is very motivating for the students.

Very minimal or non existent extra curricular activities for MSc (not uni's fault technically because the students will be so busy they never get time to focus on stuff other than academics)

Rent around 800 GBP / month. It was a student-provided accommodation and applied through their own portal. A single room and the usual facilities.

The course is well crafted but very intensive, more than most courses. It helps develop your in-depth knowledge on every paper, thus, in the field of IHRM.
We are also offered services like career development and personal development which help us in shaping our CV and job applications as well as in our well-being

At times there can be a feeling of burnout because of the intensive course.
I do not hate anything specific about the University. I am happy with my decision to pursue my MSc here, but there can be a feeling of loneliness at times.
Unlike most universities in India, the marking system is very strict. A distinction is considered to be 70% here. So, achieving marks in the 80s and 90s is a distant dream for most.

I was looking for University accommodations, so I looked up on the university website. My monthly rent is around 745 pounds, and it's an en-suite accommodation.
The challenge one might face is that it is difficult to find affordable accommodation here. If you are looking for accommodation at a lower rent, then you might have to go for a sharing accommodation. Or you can come here and look for flats to share but that is a risky move if you have no connections here.
My accommodation is around 15 mins walking distance from the university. The city is pretty much walkable so that is of no issue. There are many Indian students in the University accommodation.

No, I did not receive a scholarship. However, I did receive aid of £1000 spread over two months (£500 + £500).
There was one scholarship I had applied to—the Saltire Scholarship—but I did not get it. It was specific to Scottish universities and people from any course could apply for it.
Only 2 people from the university got the Saltire scholarship.

It was a university accommodation. When you get an offer of acceptance, you get an option to apply for accommodation on the university website.
The accommodation I got was really nice and very modern. The amenities were great. However, the only catch was that it was a little bit far from the university compared to other accommodations.
I would recommend students to apply early for accommodation, as the best ones get filled early. Also, I stayed in a twin room to save costs but this is a personal decision.
My accommodation was 25 minutes by bus from the college. Indian student population was found in every accommodation.

I found my accommodation using the University website. It was a University accommodation. The monthly rent was around 670 GBP for an en-suite room with a shared kitchen (shared among 11 people). Since I applied timely, I didn't find the process of finding accommodation challenging. However, if applied later, it can get pretty tough as flats in good locations go out pretty fast. So, my recommendation is to apply as timely as one can. Student accommodations also provide University-led teams that manage the property, which might help make the process easier. My accommodation was a 7-minute walk from my school's building. There is no specific region where most Indians stay and they are scattered across the city.
