Documents Required for Scholarship Application
The University of Bradford offers both automatic scholarships and application based awards. For automatic tuition fee discounts, eligible students usually do not need to submit separate scholarship documents, while competitive scholarships may require additional evidence.
Depending on the scholarship, applicants may need to provide:
- Scholarship application form
- Personal statement explaining academic achievements, career goals, or reasons for applying
- Academic transcripts or degree certificates to support academic eligibility
- University of Bradford offer letter, where required
- Supporting documents related to the scholarship criteria, such as proof of financial circumstances, family connection, or relevant work experience
- Additional programme specific documents, if requested under the scholarship terms
For Indian students, University of Bradford scholarships mainly reduce tuition costs rather than provide full funding. PG applicants have access to a £2,450 tuition discount under the 60th Anniversary Scholarship, while UG funding options are limited and eligibility varies by award.
Students should check whether a scholarship is automatic or requires a separate application and use external schemes such as Chevening or Commonwealth for wider tuition and living cost support.

- One of the best in the Peace and conflict studies department. But one should always enquire about other details before coming here.
- The department I am a part of is one of the best in itself but otherwise there is nothing great about the university. Good professors and opportunities, mostly unpaid, just for entertainment. But no opportunities otherwise.
Dislikes
- No opportunities for anyone other than Nigerians or blacks. Bradford is almost inhabitable with no job opportunities or very poor standard of living. There are no houses or accommodations available and if at all available they are very expensive. There are no jobs or support from the university to any other nationality other than Nigerians or Africans. Its been a biggest mistake to choose the university of Bradford, over others.
Scholarship
5000 POUNDS scholarship by the university.
Its been more than a month, and I have finally realized, it was one of the biggest mistake to choose the university, not in terms of faculty or academics, but in terms of growth and available opportunities, it is the worst decision.
