Placement Experience:
From the seventh semester students becomes eligible for campus placements.
Companies visited in my branch (i.e Paint Technology) are Maruti Suzuki, TATA AUTOCOMP , Yamaha, Hero, Bajaj ,TATA MOTORS, Uno minda , Escorts Kubota, Berger paints, Asian paints, Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, Indigo , Sswl , Shalimar Paints, Varroc, etc
Placement percentage was 100%
My plans after degree is to continue with the organisation in which I got placed.

- The college has a decent enough campus size with decent sports facilities, auditoriums and is aesthetically pleasing.
- The faculty is well-qualified and experienced, the labs are decent and academics of the college is very great, producing top GATE rankers each year.
- The placements are decent, thanks to the ever growing alumni network. It has over a 100 year legacy and produced many entrepreneurs, bureaucrats and technocrats for the nation.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is old since the college is over a 100 years old, but the administration is trying renew the old infrastructure to facilitate cutting edge research, development and supplement the student experience.
- The administration can seem orthodox and strict at times, but it's rather to maintain discipline and promote a atmosphere of learning and inquisitiveness.
- Being a state government college, little to no interaction of other state cultures and languages. Most of the students are from UP itself and that makes the environment too complacent.
Placement Experience:
There a Traning & Placement Cell that ensures training the students to appear for various rounds of interview to prove their employability. The placement rate is an impressive 80 percent, with some branches like Paint Technology overseeing 100 percent placement since decades. The highest package is over a crore under normal circumstances while lowest is 4 LPA. Thr average is around 8-10 LPA. Many students also go for GATE to works in PSUs.

- Relations between Seniors and juniors, they are very helpful.
- Location of east campus is very good, it is situated beside Kanpur Zoo, so there remains fresh air.
Dislikes
- Distance between the east campus and the west campus is very large.
- In west campus you don't get afternoon meal.
Placement Experience:
There are on-campus placements of students in campus. Companies visit campus every year. You may also get a paid internship from the college in your third year or even in your second year. There is a good placement rate.

Placement Experience:
Generally placements are good at our college. But due to recession 2023 and 2024 batch suffered a lot(specially 2024 batch) in software domain jobs. But core branches are still performing very well. Overall average lies between 8-9 lpa.

- Faculties are more educated and gradueted like IIT Delhi,Kanpur Qualified almost 80-90% Faculty
- Placement & Internship are very very good at on campus placement
- Lab & Infrastructure is very well at hbtu

- Old building are not maintainted by college finance department
- major thigs i dislike only old building at hbtu
- same as well as upper both case only old building not maintain only things me dislike
Course Curriculum Overview:
hbtu course are really helpfull in term of syallbus content and and very very deep knowledge and their lab and workshop at hbtu are very good and and hbtu workshop provided a historically 100 years of legacy at kanpur region and thier MoU signed with IIT And ICT Mumbai and many more college

- Hbtu kanpru is the oldest engineering college of our country so the alumni network is very good here every top company has a person from hbtu kanpur in top position.the faculties are qualified and mostly phd holders
- Faculties are very experienced the lab here are well equipped and fully functional the infrastructure is decent enough and placement was good in tech branch overall it is a good option if you can't get into nits and iits
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is old and placements in core branches are not good enough overall it is a good college
Placement Experience:
You can eligible for campus placement after 6th semester the placement statistics are good here you can get a decent job after your course and the college give you enough time to prepare exam like upsc , gate etc

- Teaching system is very good for getting or capture

- Marking system is very poor,so students are not get good marks
- Hostel and classes are too much distance that's why facing problem
- Two mid sem are to be obtained so that no times to cover extra skills

- College has a good alumini base which helps students to easily get placed and also take experiences from experienced people. Although looking at overall aspects college is good but as everything is not perfect this college also needs some improvement
- College has a good campus and greenery. Seniors are very interactive and helping.
- Here faculties are too experienced and have good knowledge of their subjects. Teaching methods include showing practical life examples.
Dislikes
- Although there areany things to be liked but some areas are there which needs improvement like Infrastructure, facilities like bus for moving from one campus to another.
- Library time is only till 10am to 7pm in the evening, it should be open for 24×7.
- College should also provide some help to the students in the field of Startup and innovation.
Placement Experience:
There are various companies that provide employment to the students studying here.
Some are very good that provide a very good offer to the students to grab and get settled.
However some various career options are also there like GATE, CAT, etc. that you can avail as pere your choice.

- Things i liked in this college is exam conducting bodies and curriculum and very important senior junior connection where senior help juniors in most helpful way.
Dislikes
- I think the things i disliked about this college is support of faculties and the distance of hostels of 2nd 3rd and final year hostels from main college where classes are scheduled.
Placement Experience:
Since last year our college had great placements but due to the recession period in IT fields. This year placement numbers are very low in branches like CS, IT but in chemical mechanical paint and other branches placements were good around 80 percent and above
