Likes

the college overall performance in the placement was quite high which was very suitable.
the staffs were friendly and very helpful
the campus has its own canteens and other various grounds

Dislikes

the campus of dbs is very small maybe smaller than even some school
the cleanliness and the quality of infrastructure is very medioker
any extra efforts from the management towards the betterment of the students is least expected

Course Curriculum Overview:

in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness the curriculum is appreciable but not great the management of the curriculum ia a very challenege inside dbs and many students face difficulty on the basis of mismanagemet

A genuine review for DBS GLOBAL UNIVERSITY

Likes

The faculty is very good in our good in the college
The campus is very safe and secure and there is a proper discipline committee
The college fests are amazing and management is also good

Dislikes

The accounts and revenue department is not responsive
The ERP system is very bad in comparison with other colleges
Sometimes the management is non cooperative in term of fees and schllarships

Placement Experience:

There are almost 250 companies which choose their employees from the college and the companies include delloite , BXG ,HCL , acis bank etc and cateer development cell is also very active in DBS global university.

A sense of serenity is derived from the campus

Placement Experience:

The college provides average placements. International placements are also provided in Dubai and Singapore. The international placements can go upto 24L per annum and the normal average placements can go upto 10L per annum

Dehradun is a prime location and the college has a very scenic view
Faculty members are very knowledgeable and experienced
Hostel rooms and life wonderful and happening

Dislikes

Mess food sometimes get detoriated in quality.
The campus is small and not a dream one.
The management is very decentralized and gives a hard time

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities here is quite decent. Even an average student can end up somewhere good. A lot of finance companies have recently visited the campus and around 4/5th of the students definitely gets placed with good packages

Good faculty. The teachers here are really supportive and experienced.
Efforts on placement. They make sure every one gets placed
The environment here is pretty good. People are available if you need anything.

Dislikes

Sometimes there are management issues in campus.
If you want to ENJOY your college life and have celebrity nights this might not be the one.
Campus is a bit small as compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

The Students become eligible immediately from 5th semester for placements 90% of the Students get placed in well- reputed companies, especially fintech Around 200 companies have visited the campus The package offered ranges from 6,00,000 to upto 30,00,000 within domestic territorial and more when you get an international placement

The college is situated near the hilly area and the environment is very peaceful

Dislikes

There is no cricket equipment and pitches in the college

Placement Experience:

From 4 or 5 semester students become eligible for getting a placement. There are many companies like tata, ITC etc which come to take placements The highest package is 25 to 30 lakhs pa And the average package is 6 lakh pa . There is upto 85% students get placed. After getting a degree I will get a good placement.

Management is good.... faculty is good.... infrastructure is good...

In everything they take fine and that to like 12000 15000

Placement Experience:

College placement is not good for hr and finance students The company gives only 12 to 15k in hnd so placement is very bad. They need to improve the placement techniques so tht every studnts should get time to be placed

Extra curricular, regular activities, faculty support, mentorship program, personality development program, focused on practical work

Dislikes

Alot of Assignments. Some times we receives assignments at 2 am morning which need to submit at 7 am class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Lots of activities they provid Dance, singing, sports, charity, events, modeling, drama, skits, standup comedy etc. Team building activities. They provide trip to various places like nainital, maldevta, goa for hongkong for team building and strategy building program.

Review about overall experience in Doon Business School

Likes

First is about the infrastructure the campus is so beautiful just behind the campus there were mountains and it was amazing view from the campus.
Faculties they were awesome having a lot of experience in the corporate it was fun to learn from them
Co curricular activities that it has football basketball volleyball team

Dislikes

In our batch there was dissatisfaction with the placements.
Because in the next batch students got opportunities from lot many good brands

Placement Experience:

There was good placements opportunities mainly for the marketing students but mostly it was only with the sales profiles and lesser packages and there were no such core finance jobs for the finance domain students there were no such opportunities for the hr students too.

Doon Business School, Best School for Management in Uttarakhand

Exceptional Faculty and great knowledge of teaching
Availability of All Neccesary Facilities and Library Materials
Synchronisation of Learning Management System in Association with Google and the best part of there's ERP System

Dislikes

Very Expensive. Spending around ₹11L for a Graduation course is not worthy if you are looking for MBA ahead.
Manditory of Hostel stay for 2 Yrs , If someone can't afford the services, why there is compulsion? It should be optional not compulsion
Less focus on Entrepreneurship, Being the Business School, there should be more focus on Creating Entrepreneurs not Managers.

Placement Experience:

Well, I don't beleive in placements for any Business Schools bcs I beleive in Entrepreneurship but if it asked, the placement for BBA here at is not as per at ROI standards. aonly 20-30% placement rate is there but CTC is very very low somewhere around ?3L

I have some friends at DBS, so I can give you a brief insight into the BBA program offered by DBS.

BBA at DBS Dehradun is a three-year program affiliated with the HNB Garhwal University and Sri Dev Suman University, two renowned universities. DBS also offers an integrated BBA+MBA 5 year training facility.
The BBA course at DBS differs from other Institutes. The faculty base is great and they are always working towards the improvement of the academics. The college aims to improve the employability and management skills of the students.
Students here are granted not only graduate certificates but also a range of value-added certificates such as Certification, Digital Marketing, NCFM, and SAP-UA. Students are also taught foreign languages.
There are many specializations to choose from like Finance, HR, Marketing, etc.

DBS also offers good ROI with many reputed companies visiting the placement drive.
