GITAM Visakhapatnam Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There are company visiting our college so there is in campus placement available the company mainly hires our students are Accenture,TCS and many more the average placement offered by our college is 4.5- 5 lacs per annum. Many people get 10-13 lacs package too.

Our college offers placement to around 90% of the students studying in it. From the 4th year 1st sem you can see different companies coming to the college for the placement opportunities. Different companies comes to our colleges such as :- TCS , walters kluver , microsoft , adobe , Dell , etc. The highest package offered was 65 lakh/annually. After getting the degree i will try my best to get placemnet from the college itself.

From 6,7th semester there will be campus placements for Gitam students. Before that to get used to interview and placement culture we will get soft skills coaching where few faculty from big companies came forward and teach us all the soft skills that are needed for placements by conducting aptitude tests etc. Companies like google , wipro , amazon hire from gitam university

Placements start in the 7th semester; Companies TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visit; The Highest Package is 12 LPA, average of 4.5 LPA, and 85% get placed; I hope to get a tech role after graduation. The 2nd phase of the placements will start soon which looks like promising results

I chose the Computer science engineering branch because everyone are choosing this only and i am a bit interested in coding and stuff i like to learn new things and our college encourges all the co curricular activites also and helps the students in every aspect.

For the campus placement will be conducted from our 7 semester so just ask me enter into a 4th year we would be bladder with camphorus in our face they would be no pre training for campus placements which is very bad there will be many companies that will be visiting for campus placements they include big companies. They offer packages from 3 lpa to 20 lpa but the majority will be getting lower packages and only a single digit number of students would be getting higher packages the average package for the software development associate would be around 4 LPA there would be companies like Accenture cognizant TCS Bosch Capgemini and many more companies would be offering software development associate roles here. The highest package offered was 19lpa the percentage of students getting placed are near 60 to 70% my plan after getting this degree is to get a good campus placement let me not to be the highest as they are would be a very thin chance of getting it so anything would do

As I'm a student of Gitam deemed to be a university the course curriculum is so much easier than comparatively to the other colleges or universities. It is like a daily basis assessment. In the internals, we can gain Good marks for 70 marks we can easily gain 50 above as we are attentive to the daily basis curriculam

From 7th sem onwards we are eligible to placements. I cant name all of them but most of the mass recruiting companies like accenture deliot musigma tcs etc. Come to our college. 55lpa was the higest package of out college from google. Its been 2 months since placement drive has started Approximately 30% have been placed I am currently trying to get placed.

The placements are promising in Gitam. For my course, the average salary package is around 8 lacs per annum. 60% of the students will be getting placements. I would like to opt to take the placement if it promises a good package. And if not I will choose to study further

The placements are good for the Engineering department and the MBA but not so good for the BBA department. And when we decide to sit for the college placements the faculty members manipulate us for higher studies etc
