- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities
- The courses are very good as they probide a vast selection of them.
Dislikes
- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
- Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
- Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

- The campus and fees structure I liked the most as the campus is very beautiful and the fee structure is less.
- The faculty members are good and explain well.
Placement Experience:
My plans after getting degree is taking a ca course if i didn't get and campus placement because ca is a professional course and most students prefer for ca course for future references and the placement percentage of students getting is 1.9%.

- The best things I like about this colleges is we get a huge campus
- Secondly the Professors are quite helpful if you need some help from them
- Thirdly we get nice library with more than lakhs of books and journals
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike about this college is the mess food is horrible
- Sometimes if we are having exams there may be a long power-cut
- The labs dose not have sufficient experimental setups for experiments
Placement Experience:
For Placement purpose you must get more than 7.5 CGPA to sit in the placement there are lot of companies which often offers jobs from TCS, Infosyss, etc but you may not get placement in your core subject Average package offered is around 4.5 LPA.

- Good infrastructure and good learning environment
- Short distance from my rent house. Good transportation and communication.
- Good class rooms, bench, desk and compounds.
Dislikes
- Most of the teachers speak local language.
- Communication problem with clerical staffs and teachers.
- Teachers do partiality. Some of the teachers do not clear our doubts in their subject.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Teachers must communicate in english inside the college compound. They must give explanation in english also. So that other state students will also learn. Teachers must have friendly behavior. Even the clerical staff must know english.

- This college is good in terms of class, extra activities
- Teacher will complete all the chapters. And don't not gets frustrated, atleast our teachers
- There are basketball court too. One can have time there.
Dislikes
- They are really strict towards attandance
- Commerce field is semi private, other than two stream
- Good student life, but quit strict with timeing.
Course Curriculum Overview:
In my opinion, one can surely opt for commerce stream , apart from that they offer bachelor of business administration. Students can get streams like science and art too. They have different types course

Even after NEP cover our course but I still think there are some outdated things included in your curriculum but as it's not only our college problem the curriculum is set by guwahati University so every college under there university have same problem

- Darrang College is situated in Tezpur Assam which has a back of many historical reason.it is located in the way of Narmada river.In surrounding college there are so many trees,which makes college more beautiful.Darrang college offers various courses.
- Darrang College offers various courses in undergraduate and postgraduate in arts, science and commerce.it is accredited by NAAC . There are so many facilities in Darrang College like huge library and laboratory for various subjects oscience courses
- There are a botanical garden for botany students and museum for zoology students.The best feelings is my heart belongs to this college.Every faculty members are so nice to everyone which encourages us to study hard and helps is earning knowledge.
Dislikes
- There is no much dislike about college but I want to say some disliking things like the college canteen is so much small. There is no scholarship for students whose Parents have government job.The numbers of girls students is very less.
- Sometimes I felt left out feeling in colleges . One thing is the distance of college from my home is about 300 km.which is make me very disappointed.I can't go home even after my illness because so many far.The communication kills me sometimes.
- I can't usey mother tounge in college because so many students are don't know my language.
Course Curriculum Overview:
When I'm was class 10 from this I had cleared that I had to studythe chemistry subject . So that after completing my 12 th I had took admission in chemistry courses as honours. I had so much influence for Chemistry subject because in daily life in every minute we go through chemistry . It's very interesting to learn science and realistic things in life . chemistry is very interesting subject so I chhose chemy.

- The department library provide a wide variety of books
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course provide theoretical, practical as well as field based knowledge of the subject matter. The exams are also conducted in time. The laboratory is well equipped and advanced for the development of the subject matter.

- Firstly i love the environment of the college
- Secondly the teaching or the guidance system is amazing. Also the faculty's are amazing
- Also i likes the management system as well as day to day seminar (for empowering the students) system.
Course Curriculum Overview:
As a commerce student i personally like the couse well it provides and teaches real life applications for various business aspects. Alongwith the couse provides us various skill enhancement course and the faculty or the teaching methods are very good. The exams are not to difficult just understand the topic and cover the exam. Also provides appropriate time for the exam.

- Ambience is great. The environment of college is very good and clean
- Being a very old college it has a different aura. A darrangian will able to understand it
- Some of the teachers are also good and also personally my department is great
Dislikes
- Teaching ways is not that great. It should be improved
- Most of the teachers there still follow the traditional way of teaching
- Some of the classrooms are very conjusted and not enough spacious.
Course Curriculum Overview:
It is great.
The curriculum of our college is very good.
There are different fields where one could apply apart from studies.
Like - NCC,NSS and even many cultural fields.
Students who are culturally active will get a lot of opportunities here

- I disliked that majority of students studied there so it's impossible to pay attention to each and every one.
- Environment is nice but there are more choas
- Classes are tend to be more cancel and before exams classes are held to complete the syllabus

The curriculum is nice as they take us along with them with tours for tourism and historical perspectives.
The curriculum prepares us for the real world as they indulge in proper interaction.
The areas to be improved is the classes timing, as the classes are more late to be attended.

What is your review of Gauhati University?

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
