CNLU: A Paradox at its Best

Faculty -
4 /10

4/10 as the faculty was neither well versed with the needs of the industry, nor the faculty was creative enough. Like the lectures were not only monotonous but filled with their life stories most of the times. Many a times, professors would go on to toil students on that memory game of theirs. Like no learning at alk, just memorizing things. However, there were certain professors who were very creative with their teachings, their lectures were really informative, they knew what they were talking about. So it was 4 out of a bunch of 10 professors.

A perfect Law School.

I have approximately 35 lecturers in my course in which every single one them is highly qualified. The average age among them is 40-60 as they are not below Phd. degree. My seniormost faculty is 89 years old, another faculty who is 62 years old has also been to various conventions of United Nations etc. They are experts in every subject and their expertise is shown in every class be it class management, interaction, relevancy of questions in examination, solving doubts etc. Being a Law school, every faculty member has vast amount of knowledge in the subjects they are teaching us. none below the designation of PH.D is a faculty in our college and they hold various certificates, or atleast the...

There are about 25-30 lecturers in my college, one can consider 38-40 as average age and PhD average qualification. Honestly many of them have great depth in knowledge of their particular subject, some new recruted professors however need bit time to settle as per syllabus. Many of them hold industrial kind of experience as our corporate law faculty has worked in many renowned firms and has vast practical knowledge in corporate law.

The faculty of the college is quite good but there is a need to recruit more faculties for different subjects as most of the faculties are good in some subject but they have to teach because of less faculty.

Faculties are fairly good. If you have basic idea of what you are reading, you will understand things easily. All you need is an basic idea of things. Even if you don't have, you'll catch up quickly as facilities help out on every step.

Faculty is well educated, generally. Except for rare faculties which is the story of all the institutes in India. So, I would rate faculty of my institute better than moderate. So, as per me, the faculty of my university is not a glitch especially when the student is willing to give some effort and tries to bring out the best of the faculty.

"CNLU: A Paradox at its Best"

I would conclude by saying that, the administration deserves 3/10 & the college faculty deserves 4/10. Now, coming to college life overall, it would surely provide you one hell of an experience. In the end, the institute merely provides you an atmosphere, rest depends upon how you tackle life and the challenges therein.

"My Review"

I choose this college because of the NLU tag as it is part of the CLAT committee, the only good about this college is the lush green campus. The bad thing about this college is its student culture and placement, due to the low diversified student ratio there has low understanding among college students. It just strains the inter-student relation and gave the path to student politics on the various dirty basis, it is the worst thing about this college.

"A perfect Law School."

My college has been the best place I have ever been. It was my dream to be here and now I am living my dream. There are manny good remarks as stated above in every field i.e. study, co-curricular activities etc. there is only one bad remark i.e. there are not many options for extra curricular activities. we have Indoor Badminton, Indoor table tennis, basket ball ground, cricket ground and volleyball ground. but the college does not manage much management it is mainly handled by the students only. otherwise the chanakya national law university is a very good college standing in top 10 universities in India. our students have been winning various moot court competition from the beginning, and ...
