CNLU: A Paradox at its Best

    Remarks -
    5 /10

I would conclude by saying that, the administration deserves 3/10 & the college faculty deserves 4/10. Now, coming to college life overall, it would surely provide you one hell of an experience. In the end, the institute merely provides you an atmosphere, rest depends upon how you tackle life and the challenges therein.

I cleared CLAT-2015 thereafter, I was allotted this college. I really had no option, as I wanted a National Law University, given my rank this was the best I could have had, however, due to financial restraints, I wasn't able to go to RGNUL, a college one rank above CNLU. One has to attempt CLAT, get shortlisted, and thereafter wait for the consortium to llot an institute on the basis of merit list.

Good remark - management take a good care of the academic well being of the students Bad remark - management don't give any preference on the things which is out of the ambit of the academic like hostel, mess and other well being of the students.

    Placement -

The placement (in campus) is worst for the year 2019 only 1 most people have to opt for the judiciary as there are meagre chances of getting placements from here. However, the student gets placed out campus independently on their skills There is placement cell but its student-run committee with very no help from the administration, Internship are also procured by the students independently in their own skils college and CDC does not help in any way.

My college has been the best place I have ever been. It was my dream to be here and now I am living my dream. There are manny good remarks as stated above in every field i.e. study, co-curricular activities etc. there is only one bad remark i.e. there are not many options for extra curricular activities. we have Indoor Badminton, Indoor table tennis, basket ball ground, cricket ground and volleyball ground. but the college does not manage much management it is mainly handled by the students only. otherwise the chanakya national law university is a very good college standing in top 10 universities in India. our students have been winning various moot court competition from the beginning, and ...

I wanted to opt this B.A. LL.B ( Hons.) as i wanted to be a Lawyer and also try for Judiciary. My whole family is consists of lawyer, be it my mother, father, elder brother or even my grandfather. Being a lawyer and winning cases just by facts and evidences is my passion, therefore i opted for advocacy. Steps: 1. You have to clear CLAT examination before going for any National Law university. 2. After clearing CLAT your name will be notified in Merit list of Chanakya admissions, thereafter you can easily take admission in this college. CLAT exams are held in the month of April and result comes in the month of may. the admissions starts in June and regular classes will start from 16th of July...

Form my school days, I was more interested in being a social engineer than an engineer.i decided to opt for law and their i saw clat, it conducts collective exam of many nlu's. While filling form you need to fill preference of nlu's. I am from Bihar so I thought cnlu is good option. And fortunately I got enough marks to get admission.

Management do not listen to much progressive demands, it requires protests to name then understand.

    Admission -

I was studying in science stream under the course of BS-MS but it was in Kerala, very far. I was not much satisfied, being from a middle class family research was not my thing. So I thought about switching career. I heard about law from my friend. I applied for CLAT examination on last date. I came in semester break and appeared in the examination. There was no prepration time. But it was the things which I know well. It was an online examination. I passed and was allotted this institute. I went there and selected this as it was in my hometown also.

The college is built from the students and we have many good students here but the reservation system as always plays a huge role in degrading the quality of studnest and also the faculties are not that great but we have many renowned professors who put there heart out and now the university is growing and now the great days are waiting for the university.

    Admission -

You have to qualify CLAT and then there will be admission list and you have to submit 50k yo secure the seat and then you have to come and take admission, the CLAT exam is held on may and the registration starts from Jan and you have to master the reasoning and legal affairs and current affairs to qualify CLAT, but the nlus also provide state reservation and SC/ST reservation so you are lucky if you have them it would be easy for you to get admission.

This college is comparatively new and has many fronts to improve but still as per the University stands, it is one of the good Universities to have a proper education and create a future you desire. It do have decent system to support your dreams.

    Admission -

In order to get admitted, you need to take the CLAT entrance exam. Only after getting selected in merit list, you get to choose the college as your preference. Once that is done, via counselling you may join the college.
