Patna College offers a 4-year graduation program in line with the new educational policy, operating on a semester system with two exams each semester. The mid-term exam (CIA) is worth 30 marks, and the end-semester exam (ESE) is worth 70 marks. The faculty is diverse, with the history department recognized for innovative teaching methods, whereas some geography teachers have faced criticism for their knowledge.
