Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The competitive exams brings the quality of being an arts student. And I want to give some competitive exams in near future, that is why, i opt it. In our college, one semester combines two types. First one is mid semester examination and another one is final term examination. Mid semester examination takes one and half hour 's time for exams. And final term examination takes three hours' time. The mid semester examination is quite helpful for the final exam because it contains mostly 75% of syllabus which makes the students quite helpful in their final exams.

There is still lack of practical knowledge. More focus is given on theory. No new experiments related to field are done to increase the knowledge of students. Theory is taught with excellence. You will literally have points on your fingertips. Practical is done but only from books. In the computer field i personally feel you need to step out of the box to prepare for real world. One cannot rely only on books. They conduct tests on regular basis. After commencement of every semester within 10 days you have your first test. Till Mid sem exams they already take tests of almost half of the syllabus with is one of the best things because it helps a lot in preparation for final exams.

students are elegible to sit in the placemnts from 7th semester. placements are pretty decent here. almost 80 to 90 percent students get place every year . th highest package is 18 lpa and 12 lpa the average package 6.5 lpa.

I chose psychology because I am to become a psychologist . DAV comes under Punjab University and therefore the syllabus is quite up to the mark . Practical classes are very important and helpful in studying real life applications .

Placement cell of out college is quite good. Placemenr drive generally start at the beginning of 5th semsterbof every 3 year course. Companies like DELL, HDFC , ICICI BANK, ACCENTURE, DELLIOTE and many more came to provide employement. Highest package after UG is 10 lakhs offered by company to our college student.

Ba LLB honours is a subject which highly influences humanity students to up for it. The curriculum taught here. Extra material is being studied by the students in this institute which also makes the exams difficult. Improvement needs to be done in areas where the syllabus should be reduced

While the college in not good the future perspective result the courses are only for normal study for normal job you will not get any talent for future perspective view the exams are held at every 6 months which will be semester exam while mst will held every 2 months frequently

From 5th Semester Students Are Eligible For Placements. Companies Like Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank And IBM. All The Placement Info Is On The Website Itself But The Requirement To Sit in Placements Is Atleast 75% Score In All Of The Sems Combined. My Score Was Not Above 75 So I'm Going For Off Campus Jobs.

College offered various placements from call centre and air hostess. The students become eligible for the placement in their last year or can say in the 5th or 6th semester. The highest package till now is of 5-6 lakhs/year. My plans after getting this degree is to pursue a master's degree from MCM itself

The course was not far above as expected it was from old education policy I literally hate zoology not interest in practical zoology because it was like just seeing slides but chemistry and industrial microbiology lab and syllabus were cool. Zoology subjects implemented should be changed for future development skills like apiculture farming etc which can be better for the future
