the curriculum of first year in about the introduction of every department in collage irrespective of their branches and courses.
the areas in which improvement in require is better lab equipment and also number of books in library

The course is well designed.
In first year all branches have to study the same subjects but after that all have to study the subjects of their respective branches.

- Strong Reputation and Legacy-One of the oldest and most prestigious engineering colleges in India.
- Good Placemen Opportunities - Companies like Microsoft ,amazon,google,goldman sachs,texas instruments etc. visit college for placements
- Strong Industry connections-Collaorations with ISRO,DRDO,CSIR etc.
Dislikes
- Average Infrastructure in Some Areas,Mess food quality is average
- Hostel Facilities Could be better .could use more modern ammenities
- Not as competitive as IITs-it does not brand value of IITs

- the students ae lvively and the lubrary is nice
- the coding atmosphere is very nice in the college
- the hostel food is nice as compared to other colleges

- the infrastructure of the classes is worst
- cant expect the teachers to teach anything worthwhile
- The syllabus is outdated as long as 1979

the course curricumlum is as outdated as you can imagine . we have subjectswhich are of no real use in the current scario but we are still taught them . and the faculty dosent know aanything other than this

- Pec is one of the most oldest and reputed engineering college in India
- The faculty are really qualified with mix of experience
- Pec has a good placement packages especially it Cse and ECE
Dislikes
- Girls to boys ratio it’s just 1 ratio 5 it should be improved
- The hostel life is not good the hostel should be good
- The building and the classes are really small

The curriculum is really maintained updated to reflect current industry trend and technological advancement incorporating of laboratory session ,workshop and project based Learning equips students with hand on experience

- Placement here are kinda great.Companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Nvidia, GeForce,etc come here to recruit students
- Faculty are very good don't bother student about the attendance. Also qualified from various NITs IIT and foreign university
Dislikes
- Campus area is to small. There is only one gym in the whole campus which was under facilitated with equipments.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is based on the old curriculum. there are a various subject like ed does not help in our engineering.Exam are taken weekly which are easy to clear.Facilities also teacher extra or ongoing placement that matches with our generation

- Campus is quite good and college life is also decent
- Academic is quite decent also there are equipped labs
- There is home state quto which allows student to get good branch with low rank
Dislikes
- Girls quto is not present in college so there is poor gender ratio
- Hostel are not that good poor quality of washroom
- Maximum student are from panjab and haryana
Placement Experience:
In our college placement is quite decent even mechanical and civil branch students also get's placement in consulting first and tech placement is quite good last year avg placement for cse was more than 20 lakhs

- I love the campus and its infrastructure
- Seniors are very good at here and they help you when you are in problem
- And lastly i love my hostel room ,thats the most comfortable place

- Some professor are rude here, as 75 perecent attendance mendatory

After 5th Semester we are eligible to sit in interview, as we can avail 6 months intership during 6th Semester and during that time period we don't have to take class,companies like amazon ,texas, jp morgan, goldman ,these are the best companies that visit here and provide top packages

- Peers are really great, helpful and motivating

- Campus area is big only on papers, in reality most of it is unused area
- Infrastructure is really poor, building are old and a lot of them don't even have acs
Course Curriculum Overview:
Being a first student I can't comment much about the course curriculum as I have not explored the real VLSI curriculum, as in first year we all have same subjects. But the curriculum seems decent and compared to iits and nits it is similar.
