DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students can apply for internship at the last of their second year and for placement in the starting of fourth year, almost every company approx 550 or companies visited the campus for placements . The average package of DTU is 15.3 lpa in 2022 and highest was 1.84 cr per annum. The percentage of students placed here is 95-98% . My plan after the degree is I will do job in corporate sector and once I will earn good enough,I will open a startup.

Placements are the main highlight of DTU and it provides many good offers with the highest package in crores which is mostly international offers and can have up to 64 lakhs of domestic packages. every year more than 300 companies come to DTU for placements. It includes most of the tech giants like apple microsoft amazon Netflix facebook and so on.

Because the course had all the subjects necessary for today's time and will be a good branch for getting a good job. Well, there were 75 students in a class and had 1 teacher. The student-to-faculty ratios in the labs are good but theoretical classes are not good so yes it's screwed. All teachers are well qualified and teaching method is also good. Well for us the exams were conducted on time as our semester was only 3 months long so midterms were only 1.5 months' time. And were conducted on time and they were easy to pass can easily pass by studying 1 day before the exam but for scoring good marks you have to study well before the exam.

I choose software engineering because I love technology and want to explore new emerging technologies. The faculty is good but still, it depends from person to person, all the facilities are well qualified. They teach on white board with a marker or sometimes on a white screen with a projector. There are 2 exams per semester one is mid-sem and the other is End-sem both are not that difficult end-sem is difficult to score compared to mid-sem.

I have chosen this course because of the placement and the brand value of Delhi technological University. Faculty is well experienced and help in any of the way . There are almost 2500 students in our batch . Exams are held semester wise and you can pass them easily by studying 2-3 days before exam

I take this course upper than electrical engineering and mechanical engineering because I like physics and most of the tech companies allow engineering physics to sit in placements. The faculty is not too good not too bad. Most of the professors are good and many of not. The majority are boys. Girls are in numbers. Faculty are qualified and most of them are iitians. Terms exams are held in 3 or 4 months. To pass, it's easy or difficult depending upon how you take this. If you study 10 days before exams are quite easy to pass.

Except for one or two professors most of the staff is top-notch and have a lot of knowledge. There are different experts in different fields. So they cover a vast area of knowledge. Most assistant professors are relatively young from their late 20s to early 30s and others are above 40-50. Lectures are relevant to the placement but not enough practice. You have to learn everything and apply it in real on your own.

I chose the Engineering Physics branch. Firstly I am a tech-oriented person and if we only exclude some companies almost every company is open for the Engineering Physics branch in terms of placements and internships. There is a good ratio between teacher and student. There is 65:1. The teachers are highly qualified they have done their BTech, MTech, Ph.D., and other things to teach. Hod's are too much qualified they have the best method to teach the student. The ist year is a little small as compared to another year. And exams are a bit complex and hard. If you don't study you have a very less chance that you can pass the exam. So you have to study medium to pass the exam.

The placements are very good. The average package range is around 12 lakhs. You can be eligible for placement in 7 semesters. Some of the companies that visited the campus are GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, TEXAS INSTRUMENT, APPLE, AMAZON, LUMINOUS, WESTERN DIGITAL, NVIDIA and more and approx 400 offers are made in the year 2023. Almost 90 per cent of students get placed during college placement. I prefer to go for higher education abroad after I get my degree

Placements in DTU are headline grabbers. Many companies like google, Facebook, amazon, and texas instruments regularly visit the campus. For tech branches, it is as good as iits but for core branches, it is decent, however, if you develop coding skills you can grab a very good package. Students can start applying for placement from the start of the fourth year. Many companies also come internships and students from the third year can apply during summer internships many students are able to PPOs(Pre Placement Offers). During 2022, around 2400 offers were made with an average package of 16 LPA and the Highest package was 1.8 crores. Many students were placed overseas. Every year 80-90% of students easily got placed.
