The college offers decent placement opportunities with the average placement of college being 6 lpa and the highest package being 28 lpa. Different companies like visit the campus like amazon and the mass recruiters like wipro and infosys. Around 85% of the students gets placed in the college. I would also like to grab some placement opportunity from college

Students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester, there is nothing placement cells offer to 1st year students but there are variety of paid internships, tasks that placement cell offers for 2nd year students. As of I have been notified by our teachers and seniors many reputed companies like Deloitte, E&Y, DELL, Infosys ,etc., come for campus placements and as of past records 85-90% of the students get placed with an average package of 3-6 lakhs per annum. I have heard that the highest package that have been is of 9 lakhs p.a from our college. I would also try for campus placements after getting the degree , but I may go direct for my master's in economics as well.

I chose this college for various reasons such as good placement opportunities, wider engagement in co-curricular activities like event managing, fest organising etc. Some of the bad aspects include strict attendance criteria and poor infrastructure. Back in May 2016, I gave the IPU Entrance Exam through which I got the admission in MSIT. Admission criteria used to depend on the merit of that common entrance test at that time. The entire process took around 2-3 months for enrollment. The reason of preferring this college over others is encouraging placement opportunities, good staff and exposure of extra curricular activities. The website used during the admission process was www.ipuadmission.com. Not sure if it still exist or has it changed.

As per my knowledge, the students are eligible after the 4th semester for campus placements. That is after the second year. Currently, I am in my second year so I don't know all the companies that visited our college, but some of them are:- 1) C-Vent 2) Accenture 3) WIPRO 4) Amazon 5) Oracle Talking about the highest package that was offered was 6,75,000 per annum and the average package offered every year is 3,72,000. Talking about the percentage of students getting placements is good it is approx 85% That students get placements in VIPS. My Plan After getting a degree is to do further studies out of India and after that a job in the known company.

The students from 5th semester onwards become eligible for the campus placements. Since this course i.e. B.A. (hons) Economics was commenced by the college in the year 2017, there is no official record of placements of economics students of VIPS but there have been seniors telling us about the same. As per them, recruiters from various companies like Infosys, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Oracle, and many more such reputed organisations, visit the campus every year. Almost around 90% of students get placed every year and the average package offered was 3-5lacs per annum.

I chose the course of mechanical engineering as I've always had a keen interest in building new things especially related to automobiles and the curriculum has just the right courses to fuel my passion. In addition to the mechanical part, the automation also felt interesting to me as it was new to the field. If I speak about the faculty: student ratio then I'd say it's 30:1 as in a class of around 30 students, a teacher is provided for a particular subject or lab but it's not an issue as personal attention is being given to each student during labs. About the qualifications of the teacher, I would say that most of the faculty members have either done Post-Graduation or Doctorate of some sort which is clearly visible in the way of their teaching by going deep into a subject and making the concepts clear. The teaching ethics at this Institution is exceptionally good as they believe in understanding more than wrote learning. Because of COVID, exams were 2 hours long but were quite difficult.

It was amongst top 5 colleges of IP University. It has very good infrastructure and it's placement record is also very good in the past few years. But negative point is that, being under the IP University, this college does not take decisions on its own.

I choosed this course because i was interested in electronics. The student to faculty ratio is 1:60. The faculty is well qualified and has great knowledge in their respective fields. The term exams are not so much difficult if you studied well for them. In the term exams there is one internal viva and after that an external viva and the semester exams.

Students with no back were allowed to sit in the placements and the companies coming were Infosys, Accenture, ion trading, Wipro, Times of India, and many more. Average package provided was 5-12 CTC. I plan on getting the campus placement and move forward with a good company.
