GTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choose electronics and communication because I love to design the circuits and work on them. In real world ec engineers have huge role. In space, defence, health tech., IoT every field there is need of good ec engineers. Students should learn language like c, c++ and python during their college time it will help them to get a good job. Core subjects are little bit more difficult.

First of all they provide us an internship after 4 semesters and that gives you a lot of experience and a taste of outside world with companies , then they gives us a placement after we complete our diploma and which is not bad , and company offers students here according to the projects they have made and experience they gained with everything by participating in innovative programs and all

The admission process start from 7 sem. During my final year of college companies offerd package fro 1.8lac to 4.5lac. around 4-5 good core company and other small company from near by college. Companies which came are eInfochip, Teskun, Optimized solution, schaeffler, masibus, sltl,etc. only 15-20% students get placement through on campus placement drive out of the student who sat for placement. I also sat for placement but i doesn't get my expection and i was also planning for master so i go for my masters.

The placement of this gtu afflicted college is very good as you directly governed by higher companies as your results and grade is excellent. If there is no placement from campus then you can apply to other companies from your own. Or else you can open your medical store in your area with licence.

After 9th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Very famous companies like Wipro, TCS, IBM, Cognizant and Reliance companies came in campus for recruitment and Students of LJ University, Ahmedabad received Highest Package offer of Rs. 15.00 Lakhs per annum and Average Package of Rs. 3.50 Lakhs per annum.

Our college does provide placements. But they all offer very low amount of salary and big industries are come oftern in placement and they choose one or two students out of all class which is not very good. Companies like Adani and Nirma comes to our placement. But only 10% of students gets placement from the placement cells.

The cousre curriculum of Gujarat technological University is very wide and if you dependent on faculty then you will have to face very difficulty at the time of finals. You need to cover your syllabus by your own so that you are not depending on any others.

There is a placement cell in our college. As I'm placement cell student coordinator, I can assure you that if you are a hardworking student then you will crack the job. The companies like Adani, Reliance, Nirma, and other highly reputed companies visit our college and picks the students. The Reliance had given 8 lakh per annum, Adani gives 6 lakh oer annum, and Nirma gives 3 lakh per annum. So basically the placement is good

Colleges placements starts in 7th semester. There are around 15 companies come every year. Around 50-60 students get placement. There is also a placement fair organised via GTU. There are good facilities for placement at placement fare.

There is tough competition in computer/IT branch but when you see other branches, it becomes easy to get placement of you focus on your studies atleast and practical knowledge. If I don't get campus placement I will see some compain in Surat itself by contacting with professors and seniors.
