GTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Not every year but sometimes In the present time, my senior colleagues are eligible for the campus interview and then they are selected in the campus placement around 400000 LPA per year.

The placements are good and average. It is all around 40 to 50 percent per year placement in civil engineering. There are many companies are visited our college for placement like Tata, reliance, concern, L&T etc. My plan after getting the degree is for a government job in the technical side.

The course curriculum is too good and faculty members are so humble and calm, they give instant responses to your doubts. I choose mechanical engineering because one of the reasons is my interest, I love machines, how they work, etc. And 2nd reason is Rajkot city is the hub of mechanical engineering in Gujarat so you got easily job. Especially in mechanical engineering, there are 90 seats available and all are filled. The student ratio in mechanical engineering is almost 100% boys. Teaching is so nice,and also every lab available with latest machine and other equipment, so that you can also learn with practical approach. Exam is not too much difficult. If you study properly than you can easily got 7+ cgpa

There are very good facilities for internships as well as placement also. In nowadays very huge companies are giving chances for internships from our college like Reliance, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Mahindra etc.

In our campus placement average package is around 2 to 3 LPA. The highest ranked package is 7 lacks per anum in Capgemini company. Many companies in Ahmedabad, Pune, Gandhinagar and Vadodara visit our campus for placement. My plan is for a good job in a reputable organisation.

There were around 60 students in our one IT batch and there were a total of 2 batches. there was only one college with an IT course the SAL college and although the experience was good and the faculty were also good and helpful

As far as campus placement is concerned it mostly depends on your skills and the cgpa you scored in exams. Far mostly students get placed in 8 sem 4 months before for exams as there are some companies visit campus and some via contact of faculties and the highest package offered was 4.5 lakhs per annum for fresher be mechanical in bosch company, but you have to maintain your cgpa above 7.5 for sitting in placement.

Well-known companies like TCS, Cybage, E-Infochip, Hitachi, Torrent, Tech Mahindra, and L&T Infotech, visit the campus and hire students as per their requirements. Computer science, EEE, and mechanical students also have very nice placements. The number of CSE and its students are placed more than other branches.

The placement is decent. The average package is 4 lacks per annum. But mostly students of Computer, It and Ec got placed. Then Electrical and Chemical students got placements. Other branch students do not get handsome placements.

I don't like the placement of the college they only had 3 companies in which they were giving fewer packages with fewer benefits. I had clear vision of what I had to do after my degree certificate I wanted a government job.
