GTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students have to start planning for placements from the 5th sem and till then have to learn many things like dsa, oop, etc for crack placements. Many companies like, TCS, INFOSYS, TAVASOFT, MARUTISOFT, VIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, etc. The highest package offered is 12LPA and the average package is 3.5 LPA. 60 to 70% of students get placed every year. I want to do a job in TCS or AMAZON, MICROSOFT, or GOOGLE.

In the 8th semester, you are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited in our college like TCS, INFO SYS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Adani, etc. Around 50-60% of students get placements in our college.

From the 7th semester, you are available to apply for placement jobs. There are many companies coming to this event. Many companies like tata, Accenture and l&t companies. They give many jobs offers to students. Students get packages to start from 3 lakhs to 10 lakhs. The average package is 3.5 lakhs in college which is given to students. I plan to get placement after my degree.

At the end of the 8th semester, they have to clear all subjects. There are many companies visited by GLS petroleum, Khosiyar Infotech, Infotech, and CodeingInfotech, and many tech companies come. The highest package per year offered is 3.5 lakh, and the average package is 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh per year. 70 percent of students are placed. I have planned to go to Bangalore for my masters and do a job while studying.

You need to have at least 6 CPI to be eligible for campus placements. The average package offered is 3 to 4 lacs and goes up to 12 lacs, depending upon the student's capabilities. There are a lot of different companies visiting every year, out of which TCS hires half of the batch a lot of times. The placement for the computer branch is almost 100%.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. TCS, TORRENT and etc company visited & 120000 offer made. The higher package is 500000 and average package is 90000 as per company and profile offered. 50 % of student get placed.

There are placement opportunities in our college, but they are few, from the 7th semester company starts to visit for placement in our college but one should have a minimum of one backlog only for sitting in placements.

I choose this course cause of my interest. The faculty's number is good for the all students. Most of teachers are good at teaching and experienced. The term exams taking per GTU Circular and it's not hard .

I am choosing a college because low fees as compared to other colleges. in one classroom 60 student seats. all faculty members are PhD degrees, and master's degree holders. Three exams in the one-semester first mid-sem exam, pre-gtu exam and final Gtu exam.

I had taken Diploma in IT after 10th as Diploma in CS was not available there. Though, they say there isn't much difference in both courses. The faculties are ever ready to help and Faculty:Student ratio is 5:70. Some faculties are very knowledgeable but not all. But they provide guidance whenever needed. They won't help you unless you ask though. The exams are conducted timely as per GTU regulations. The exams are not much of a worry because I found it quite easy and repetitive. Though you have to be careful because passing rates are low.
