Students of 8th semester are eligible for campus placement. The number of students getting placed are not so high. But on an average students from computer engineering department are getting placed with package of nearly 2 lakh per annum.

good placement for computer and IT students with good salary and job is basically decided by marks and project also the some certification you have to do for better job opportunity and well knowlegdge of skills.

The percentage of students getting placed is not even close to 50% because most of the students want to do D2D[diploma to a degree] Higher studies. The average package was around 20k last year and as far as I know, main company Amul. From the 6th semester placement drive starts for students who are interested but to eligible one has no active backlog.
