Ok. The most important thing in every college is how its college management works.
Actually, college management trying their best to get the best out of their students and therefore they are trying different new things every year. But as a student, I don't like such an experiment.
I sat for both the CAT examination as well as the CMAT examination. Since my score in the CAT exam was not good I got admission to the college through the CMAT exam. The college also offers admission under management quota however there the fee is higher as donation charges are also to be paid. I opted for this college in particular because of their placement record and distance from my hometown.
In this college admissions are given to students directly after verification of all required documents after filling the application form. The admission procedure for this college is simple and fast. I am doing my MBA from this institute, and I was given admission on the basis of my CMAT scores and verification of documents on the spot. There are no interview or written test for this institute.
The Lj institute of engineering and technology is a seriously very good college but it is totally on the basis of theoretical knowledge. The lab sessions are not so considerable but technical visits are conducted almost once in a semester.
College management can be a bit untimely. You may have to go check things regularly yourself. You might not even get a notification of an important circular such as the fee payment.
Reason to choose ECE is the growing technology, and most product are electronic-based, they are used some or the other way. EC is the evergreen branch. Choosing SOCET is due to publicity and advertising etc, which opt me. Based on the rank of JEE, admissions are procured.
My admission was done on the basis of entrance exam of CAT. I have scored 70% and then went to the college with my marks scored and all of the required documents. There I fill out the application form and had some kind of counseling with one of the faculty members and then after a few days, my admission was granted.
I took the entrance exam of CAT with the marks scored of 78% and then visited the college and then had counselling with the director of the college and they helped me in all of the application process. They were very helpful and supportive.
